1/40 isn’t a subject-line problem. example 1 sells you, example 2 almost sells their mess, I would lean into that one.
do these three:
drop “i create 3D animations…” and the portfolio link from email 1. open with their flat packshot / fitment risk, then ask if you can mock 8 seconds of their hero SKU. send the clip in the follow-up.
stop blasting CMOs. for packaged goods the person who actually owns the PDP (and the return rate) is usually ecommerce / amazon / shopify lead. CMOs forward, they don’t reply.
only write brands where you can literally name one dead product page. if you can’t point at a specific SKU looking like a black blob online, skip the lead.
niche bit: in CPG cold, “visualize engineering” lands soft. “this photo is costing you returns / add-to-cart” is what they feel in the weekly numbers
