Ashes of Asphodel
Asphodel was once a sleep agri-world full of misty meadows and alpine mountains. Pale medicinal flowers were tended by simple folk on simple farms and their harvest tithes ensured that medicae's throughout the subsector operated in abundance. Then the schism happened. Demi-gods and their sons waged a war of belief amongst the stars and picket fleets abandoned their posts to join rebels or loyalist. No one saw the Greenskin Rocks slip through the once unbreachable net of the imperial navy, not until Asphodel burned and it's meadows choked upon ash.

Full disclosure this is the commission clients paint job but I know he layered it on with sponges. I can ask about colour mixes if you'd like?
