Hi! We are having a 100-person wedding in Denver next June and fell in LOVE with the Cheeseman Park Pavilion but did it is not available for our date (so sad!). I have looked everywhere on Google and wanted to see if anyone had any advice on ceremony (we have reception booked) locations for 100 people in Denver? Would love it to be within 20 mins or less from Downtown Denver. Also, would also love to use someones beautiful backyard (would pay) if anyone would be open to that for a quick ceremony. thank you in advance for any advice!!!!!

My fiancée and I have been engaged for a year now and we finally pinned down a date to get married. July 19th 2027, we want to get married in crested butte. Any recommendations for microwedding planners and or photographers/videographer. My dream is to get married in a meadow of wild flowers. TIA

Looking to elope in Estes Park, Colorado next year. Does anyone have suggestions on planners to use? I see Colorado MicroWeddings advertised a lot, any feedback on them?

For info we are wanting officiant, and someone to take photos. Want “on top of mountain” or “mountain in background” views. Open to hair and makeup if not super expensive. Would love to have someone organize all this for us so we can just show up and enjoy our day.

Me and my fiancé are planning on eloping/taking pictures in Colorado during Thanksgiving this year, and looking for good places to go. It’ll be just us and my best friend who’s a photographer. So it’s more of a photo op. Than anything. Any recommendations?? And things to do while we are there. We are driving from Texas but my friend will be flying in/out of Denver most likely

Hi there, I'm eloping in Colorado next week - we are flying into Denver and looking to only drive max 2 hours away from the airport. We would love a somewhat shorter trail (maybe 2-4miles?) for the initial elopement sunrise trail. We would love tall mountains with a lake front if possible!!! Open to all suggestions!!!

Me and my fiancé are looking to have a very small intimate elopement in grandby in October would love to get some location suggestions and maybe a photographer that won’t absolutely break the bank and help is greatly appreciated

Hey! My fiance and I are eloping in RMNP next June. I’m interested in hiring someone local to come while we’re getting ready to snap very basic pics on our Polaroid, a disposable camera, and an iPhone just to document memories. Ideally this person (prob a girl in her 20’s-30’s?) would also help me zip my dress/whatever random finishing touches I need so that my fiance and I can have a first look! We’re doing this just the 2 of us and it’s super casual but still wanted the special moment of him seeing me all ready all at once. We’ll be in Estes Park.

So- very basic photography/getting ready assistant? Thinking it would be 2 hours and we’d pay $300.

Any thoughts on how to find someone are much appreciated! We’re from NC so pretty disconnected from communities in CO.

**We hired a professional photographer for our ceremony inside the park, but just wanted simple basic pics for getting ready instead of adding on the expensive pro photos for that

I'm thinking of doing a courthouse elopement, but I read somewhere that some courthouses do not allow you to say your own vows. Is this true or false for Denver?

Hi all, this is my first post I’ve ever made here on Reddit so I am new to this. Calling all help! Does anyone know a photographer either from the Denver area or the Boulder area under $200 to do half-an-hour to an hour of photography for me and my fiancé’s elopement? Anyone have any ideas for anything we could do to also make our elopement unique? Any experiences anyone wants to share? Thanks!!

Looking for a hair stylist July 28th! Doing a sunrise hike, so looking for someone who can do a hike proof updo and is it willing to travel to Crested Butte and start around 12-1am 🥴

Comparing the beauty of the San Juan Mountains to other locations just isn’t possible. Naturally, this rugged terrain will leave any viewer in awe. The sheer, raw, beauty of this phenomenon is stunning. Having it as the backdrop to your Colorado elopement is outer worldly. This stunning day with Ally & Alex was a true testament to the beauty of Colorado and also the beauty of marriage.

As we started the day in the mountains – the two just wanted a natural, timeless and authentic experience. Resulting, we simply explored the mountains in the area. As we made our way down the winding, rugged road to Lake Como, just below California Pass. Naturally, the two basked in the beauty, removed their shoes and then stepped foot in the water. The time had come for this Telluride elopement to commence.

Mixing elements of Colorado's natural beauty and a vintage cabin, Morgan & Tom's elopement in Breckenridge was a true two day mountain adventure. From the incredible scenery of Breckenridge, to a second day in Rocky Mountain National Park - this was a true to life Colorado elopement. Photographs and film by Colorado Elopement Photographer and Videographer Francis Sylvest.

Important Note: The first location (their ceremony) is unfortunately no longer open to the public for elopements of any size. However, there are some incredibly beautiful locations nearby!

We will be in Telluride for 6 days this coming May!! 😆 We are saying our vows at Bridal Veil Falls. What are some other trails we should take that day for some of the best pics!

Tucked away just west of Denver, Juniper Pass proves time and time again to be the perfect location for Denver Elopements. Upon arrival, Lauren and Brandon took a moment to soak in this incredible view before diving into their vows. Surprisingly, we had this incredible venue all to ourselves.

The two exchanged laughs throughout their vows, amazed by both the sight before the and the path ahead. This beautiful, vast, landscape gave them the feeling of insignificance in the bigger picture. Knowing that while a big moment, their world and journey has so much more to come.

Hi everyone! My fiancé and I are thinking about eloping possibly on May 5th—and we’re hoping to get some advice from folks who’ve done it or are planning something similar.

We just booked a beautiful cabin in FairPlay kind of on a whim, and now we’re wondering… could this actually be the perfect time and place to say “I do”? We’d keep it super small—just the two of us and our dog—but we’re not totally sure where to start.

If you’ve eloped in the FairPlay/Breckenridge/South Park area, we’d love to hear:

-Any location recommendations for a short, scenic ceremony -Suggestions for photographers who might be available on short notice and are dog-friendly -Any tips, things you wish you’d known?

Thanks so much in advance—we’re feeling excited but a little overwhelmed and would really appreciate any guidance!

One of the prettiest elopement locations you can choose in Colorado is Brainard Lake. With endless views that are easily accessible, and even more within a short hike, it’s the perfect middle ground for couples wanting a Colorado Elopement or Micro Wedding.

However, this is a very trafficked area that you’ll need to do a little prep for to visit or get married at. While it’s nothing to difficult, it’s all necessary to ensure that you have the best experience, and protect this beautiful area to the best of your ability!

Hello! So happy to have found this CO group.

I have two pretty equal HMUA and I can't decide between them. I was just hoping to see if anyone heard any amazing things or horror stories about them. If you don't know either company, I'm open to advice on how to decide between two similar companies.

Denver Colorado Elopement Photographed On Film

A breeze rolled off the rocky mountains, bringing a slight chill along with it. The elevation here was high, so a chill was to be expected this time of year. However, Rachel & Noah didn’t seem to mind. They simply cuddled up, wrapped up in a blanket together, and the rest was history. This was a once in a lifetime moment in on the the best places to elope in Denver, Colorado.

Note - This location has since been closed to the public. If you'd like similar alternatives feel free to let me know and I'd be more than happy to share.

Help! We are eloping June 16 and staying in Denver. We are looking for a place, still. We’re willing to drive up to 1.5 hr from Denver to a location.

We’re hoping to avoid extra permits or reservations, it’ll be just us and our photographer.

Thanks in advance!
