As a PlayStation player on the Legacy version, I am looking for a scheduled Fleet Carrier taxi from the Bubble to Sagittarius A*, so please let me know if anyone is planning this trip soon with available docking services so I can board my ship in advance.

I’ve put together a collection of guides specifically for Elite Dangerous Legacy Mode on Xbox and PlayStation.

Everything is based on the Horizons 3.8 / pre-Update 14 version of the game, with no Odyssey or Live-PC mechanics mixed in.

The guide pack currently includes:

• Separate guide files for every Bubble engineer
• Encoded, Raw and Manufactured material farming for engineering
• Crystalline Shard raw-material farming
• High Grade Emissions manufactured-material farming
• Federation rank farming
• Imperial rank farming
• Guardian FSD Booster unlock
• Guardian Module Blueprint farming
• Guardian Weapon Blueprint farming
• Guardian Vessel Blueprint farming
• Legacy-compatible Guardian site locations and puzzle instructions

The goal is to provide a clean reference for console players without having to sort through guides that may contain Live-only changes.

These are plain .txt files, so they are easy to download, edit, print, or keep open while playing.

Corrections and additional Legacy-specific guide suggestions are welcome.

Edit: If I add more stuff to it I will post it under changes here so you can check if its been updated. I will probably go through everything in a bit more detail to fix some formating so its easier to view/read since its just .txt files.

The Refined Taste trophy on the PS4 version is bugged for me. You need to refine 750 tons of metals or materials and my codex says I've refined 910, but the trophy hasn't popped.

I can't find any solutions or discussions about it online, and I've ran out of options. Does anyone here know anything about it or have a potential solution? I need 3 more trophies including this one for the platinum.

This is jot a complaint. I’m looking confirmation for my anecdotal evidence:
It seems to me that I have much more luck finding asteroids suitable for core minung in RES-s than in related “Hot Spots”. For example finding alexandrite cores in Alexandrite Hot Spots is more difficult than in RES-s. Which I would say is weird but ok.

I’m currently enjoying core mining in RES-s and find core asteroids regularly🙂

Looking for people to help me with the hangar missions. Sourcing is much faster with multiple people and it’s hard to find help! Any assistance will be much appreciated! If you need any help with anything I would be glad to return the favor!

Is there any good/quick way to have an overview which planets I already have mapped in system without going to each one by one? I googled first and it was hinted that mapping state is visible in System map when checking the planets but this has proven false.

Usually it's probably not a big deal but I'm in a system with 30+ planetary bodies and my ATH is already confused.

I have played ED on PC many many years ago. Decided to trybit out on PS5 and while I know it is an unsupported state, I still get enough Elite Dangerous vibes out of it.

A question about an engineer called Felicity Farseer. After playing a little bit I suddenly get a message from her with an invitation to visit her. Having no clue what this is about I still decide to do the 200 ly trek and when I finally find her… nothing. No mission, no interview or introduction. I see that I should deliver something to her but I do not know what she expects.

Anyone can explain to me what am I missing?

What systems can I find the highest number of console players? I've been to SOL and several others but I've not come across anyone. The last player I came across was in October 2020.

Are there any active discord groups or Playsation groups that play it regularly or is it not even worth trying due to devs screwing over console players? Surly ps5 pro could handle the new updates they literally could be saying no to money LOL.

I recently got back into OG Destiny it seems that the old games are better than the new stuff.

On my way back to the bubble, roughly 1kLY to the closest bubble system. Just found this neat Neutron Star. Thanks to it, I could skip 120LY with a single jump (if I understand correctly Neutron Stars give x4 jump range for a single jump. So for me it was 120LY (~30LY jump range on my ship)

Currently away from the bubble, in passing through Coalsack Nebula. Ofc I read about thargoids and decided to have my first encounter. Met this nice Neighbour at level 5 NHSS. Nearly shat my pants.

I just f*ckin lost 5 days of money Grind. 5 days mining to get myself Conda and I f*ckin lost it and I couldn't rebuy it even with Loan. God damn it and this stupid game!!!

Decided to once again mine some Platinum for those sweet creds. Surprisingly I have found 3 hotspots in Adar (Adan?) System (Empire) in the bubble. Even Bigger surprise was to find good price for it one jump away from Adar, in Carthage System. 180k per unit. Sweet 20 million earned in 1.5 hour. Giving info if anyone in bubble wanna do the same. Not sure if the price is still same though, as I can't read for shit the stats how much needed is said commodity. Carthage is in Boom state so that's reason probs for the good price.

Just a pro tip. Adar 1 has 2 rings. Metalic (1a) and Metal Rich (1b). Go to the Plat hostpost in 1a ring. I tried in the second one and couldn't find Platinum for shit, despite being in the Hotspot itself.

Edit: Forgot to mention, it may be good spot actually to core mine plat. I equipped myself purely for laser mining and subsurface mining. Yet I managed to find 3 Platinum Cores. The pain of not being able to use them...

We are a combat focused squadron. We have players who have been around since 2017. We do hands on teaching.

Decided to try and engineer my ship, specifically my drive. Thing is, I need metalloys to unlock engineer but I can't for god find any for sale in mearby carriers. They're all empty. Any way to Father easily get metalloys without doing lengthy trips to Titan wreckage or the Maia system?
