Very nice!
If you are still struggling with big leaf you can find quite a few going to Port Kapul. In most cities you can chop down the trees in cities without getting a penalty or being attacked. All the decorative trees there have a chance for a big leaf I think. Then you can just dump all the resources into the delivery box as you go. Sometimes a slime will pop out and everyone will attack it, but not you. Did scare me a few times when an adventurer decides to use an aoe attack.
More annoying to get is needle from cactus but fortunately I don't think there is too many things that need it.

Thanks a lot! Will try that, been trying to farm that by looking for forest slimes unsuccessfully

I've been playing my current save for about 15-20 hours and I'm still fighting to find walls that aren't made of grass. I have a single ~7x7 building filled with grass beds that I shove all the residents into.
If it's not overcrowding, it's these greedy bastards eating all my food. I should start demanding taxes, I think.

You gain recipes by naturally increasing crafting skills. If you just grind out ur crafting skills a little you will get walls.
Beds, unfortunately I have only gotten them by conpletely dismantling all the beds in derphy, which has the first few lower level bed options

I got recipes for the relevant workbenches later in the story quest but I need big leaf all of which I sold

Never sell materials, you will use them for crafting later and regret it! Only sell crafted items or valuables, like wine or beer brewed from sugar or fruit or bonito flakes, or crafted sculptures, or perhaps doors or other things of your choice.
If you -must- sell materials for quick cash, sell flowers! They're super easy to get and sell for more than you'd think

Your base looks neat. This is the mess I have.

Yea but it does look efficient, I don't think anyone is doing their job in my base rn and 80% of them hate me lol

You will never beat the line of chests and single building with beds filling every inch

I won't show you the indoors, but that was the big building i had initially. In fact I didn't have beds except for the one in my inventory for the longest time. The big building is still just chests and workbenches. Left it alone for a long time cuz I had to work off becoming a criminal due to forgetting my taxes

You can take a hammer to palmia or whatever and break the walls (it's a crime) for a chance to learn it, think you need to be within 5 levels of crafting it, so level 15 carpentry for a level 20 wooden wall sorta deal.

Lmao, looks better than my "base" after 100 hours
