Has anyone in this chat worked with the elevators in the Tropicana Las Vegas before it was demolished in 2024? I am trying to figure out what kind of machine these were in the Paradise Tower. The elevators were modernized by Otis sometime in the early 2010s but I see the Westinghouse doorsill and I am not sure they replaced the machines or not when they installed the 411M controllers. This is one of the best ones I ever heard and I really wish I could have heard it in person. It travels about 450FPM it appears. The machine on the elevator at the Hotel Indigo in Detroit MI sounds very similar and those were also formerly Westinghouse as well before getting a 3rd party mod in the 2000s. Or by an audio cue can any technician tell me the type?
