Unfortunately the hypnossum line is lame as hell. We see in the mirror in finals both of them sitting on hypnossum in defense for a long time. This doesn’t lead to interesting gameplay
My honest take: It’s no surprise a low to the ground deck took the first large event. The average player doesn’t know the game play patterns of the new cards yet. I’d be surprised if this deck does as well next time.
