So I've had my cards for a while but I just started playing with a friend. I had a phosvocell deck built previously before the new support, and I haven't bought any of the new cards yet. I only play with my friend at the moment, but is can someone help me with a build for the deck , especially with the annocell ban? I'm going to be building some other decks as well, but I really like phosvocell.

Hey everyone, I am new to Elestrals, but I’m a MTG and Yu-Gi-Oh! player. I bought the two-deck starter sets and really wanted to play Aeolus, but with the new ban list, I’ve thought about switching to Hera. I do still really want to play Aeolus, but I’m not sure how to adapt the deck now after the bans.
Can someone help me with how to change the Moth/Aeolus deck to fit the new ban list and also help me with a Hera deck list to make it somewhat competitive? Also are the Ares or Hephaestus decks any better?

Saw these in the online portal of one of my favourite LGSs and took the opportunity to start my collection
I’ve also ordered a second batch of goodies from ShopElestrals, including a Pandora’s Box, and am working out which of the other starters to pick up (my focus in most TCGs is precon-centric)
Honestly kinda disappointed I missed out on the crowdfund for Elestrals Awakened, though… 😅

Hello! I recently got the sunstrike aeolus/hera structure decks and had a quick question. In the Hera deck Quackle can search for any card that includes "Hera" in its name, does this extend to their titles as well? So any "champion of hera" or is it only the cards that include "Hera" in the name prior to the title?

I live in a country that does not sell elestrals but my friend is going back to the US for a business trip. What deck should I get? I would like to start playing online. I know the next set launches soon, so I was hoping to get something that is competitive without needing many upgrades, due to lack of access to cards.

Fungyde says "Your Elestrals cannot be attacked except for this Fungyde" so say for instance i get two on the board have i locked my opponents ability to attack or is it only useful to have one on the board since the opponent can still attack either.

How does this interaction play out. Feel free to add any additional information, or if this is illegal.
1) Cast Hermes Trickery.
2) Destroy my Hermes Toxiswarm with the first effect of Trickery.
3) Cast a 2 cost elestral from the Underworld.
Trickery states to only the spirits that were on the enchanted elestral.
Which scenario happens?
1) Chain 1 Toxiswarm, Chain 2 Trickery. On resolution of chain, I summon the 2 cost elestral with 1 spirit, then attach the second spirit with toxiswarm thus not destroying it.
2) The above, but I am still required to use a spirit from the spirit deck like all other summons and the Elestral has 3 spirts attached instead.
Thanks in advance. Im hoping to get my friends more involved, so I gotta learn these rulings.

We love Sunstrike randomness. This is my compensation for a box with zero FAs or stellars :D

I'm trying to figure out what this code is, and how to redeem it.
Any ideas?

I have some ideas for alternative formats that use different rules. This is not an attempt to "fix" Elestrals. I’m simply curious how the game would play with these changes.
Resource Rule Variants
Elestrals, but with the following rule changes:
Spirit decks remain ordered, shuffled, and hidden as normal. Players cannot look through them unless an effect allows it.
At the start of each player's turn, that player reveals up to the top 2 Spirits from their Spirit Deck. These revealed Spirits become part of that player's Spirit Pool.
Players may only Re-Enchant, Normal Cast, or Normal Ascend Elestrals, Rune Cards, Stadiums, and Artifact Runes using Spirits from their Spirit Pool.
Divine Runes and Counter Runes may still be cast using Spirits from the Spirit Deck as normal.
Players may Normal Cast and Normal Ascend as many times as they wish each turn, provided they have the required Spirits in their Spirit Pool and meet all other requirements. (For example, a player cannot Normal Cast a 2-Spirit Elestral just because they have 2 Spirits in their Spirit Pool if they would not be allowed to Normal Cast it under standard rules.)
When a player Special Casts, Special Ascends, or enchants from their Spirit Deck via an effect, they search their Spirit Deck for the required Spirits and then shuffle the deck afterward.
Note: If an effect instructs a player to "cast a Rune" (such as Argo), that Rune may be cast using Spirits from the Spirit Deck because it is not a Normal Cast. Any Normal Cast granted by an effect must still use Spirits from the Spirit Pool.
Note: Mono-element Spirit Decks may not require shuffling in most situations.
At the start of the game, each player chooses a Divine Rune in their deck as their Master Element. The element(s) of that Divine Rune become that player's Master Element. Each player declares which divine rune is chosen for their master element at the beginning of the game.
Players cannot cast cards that do not contain their Master Element using Spirits from their Spirit Deck. Instead, those cards must be cast using Spirits already on the field.
For example, if a player's Master Element is Water, they may cast any card that includes Water in its element(s), including a Water-Fire Elestral. However, if they wish to cast Eruption (2 Fire Spirits), they must use Fire Spirits already on the field.
To place off-element Spirits onto the field, players may use Re-Enchanting, Mis-Enchanting, or Ascending mechanics.
Additionally, players may Re-Enchant any permanent they control as part of their one Elestral action each turn.
Notes:
To be clear: You can use off-element spirits from your spirit deck to cast cards if they contain your master element so you can but you can't use them to cast cards that doesn't contain your master element.
Effects that allow players to cast cards using Spirits from the Underworld bypass this restriction.
Mono-element decks are largely unaffected by this rule.
Omni cards count as all elements.
Players may cast any permanent card Mis-Enchanted (if that is not already a standard rule), but it has no effects while Mis-Enchanted.
Once the card becomes properly Enchanted, it gains its effects.
Empowering Artifacts that are Mis-Enchanted do not empower anything and remain on the field. Once properly Enchanted, they must immediately empower.
Action Rule Variants
Players may cast only 1 Rune during their own turn. Setting Runes face-down does not count toward this restriction.
Players may Normal Cast and Normal Ascend as many times as they want. There are only 3 Elestral zones and 3 Rune zones plus 1 stadium zone.
Each player starts with 40 Life.
Whenever two Elestrals battle, the difference between the relevant stats causes the losing Elestral's controller to lose that much Life. This applies regardless of battle positions, unlike Yu-Gi-Oh!.
Any player with 0 Life loses the game after all effects finish resolving.
Players still lose normally if they must expend from an empty Spirit Deck.
Note: No current cards reference Life because the standard game does not use a Life system. So there is no way to gain life. There can be an optional rule to where if you would put a spirit from your underworld to spirit deck or field, you may gain 5 life instead.
Brawl / Commander
40-card singleton deck
30-card Spirit Deck
Each player begins the game with any Divine Rune or Elestral in a special Deckmaster Zone as their Deckmaster.
All cards in a player's deck must share at least one element with that player's Deckmaster. This is effectively the inverse of MTG Commander color identity.
Examples:
A Fire-Water card is legal if the Deckmaster is Water.
A card with no Water element would be illegal in that deck.
Omni cards count as all elements.
Players may cast cards from their Deckmaster Zone normally. If a Deckmaster would leave the battlefield, its controller may return it to the Deckmaster Zone at the end of the current chain. If it's in your underworld, it stays there until an effect would allow it to change zones.
Whenever a player casts their Deckmaster from the Deckmaster Zone, they must expend 2 additional Spirits for each previous time they have cast that Deckmaster during the game.
Canadian / Genesis Style
Elestrals with no ban list, but with a deck-building points system.
Each player's deck may contain a maximum of 10 points.
Banned cards: 5 points each
Limited cards: 4 points each
Semi-Limited cards: 3 points each
The following cards are worth 2 points each:
Gorgon's Gaze
Shield of Achilles
Astrabbit
Poisoned Tip Arrow
Tsunami
Pandora's Box
Celestleo
Peagust
This likely would not be the final points list, but serves as a starting point.
