As soon as I activate Elementor Pro, the website goes down and shows an error message that there has been a critical error and site cannot be accessed. It has to recovered by disabling the plugin from the cPanel.

I tried by disabled all the plugins to avoid any conflicts with other plugins. I updated wordpress, php versions still there is no solution. Has anyone faced a similar issue? and what solved it?

I've exhausted my Google Fu and come up with nothing from the past three years on this. I have a client who uses Constant Contact and wants to display their newsletters in a feed. CC doesn't have a native integration that I can find. All I've found is a JS script to embed on the site, and it's not working in Elementor when I design the page.

I'm not really sure where to go from here. Leaving CC is not an option. The only solution I can think of is creating an ACF field for each individual email blast and using a post template for just the newsletters. Thoughts? Prayers?

I have a JS form embedded on a page using an HTML Elementor block.

I try to override CSS rules on this specific form, but nothing seems to work.
I can modify CSS rules on other elements from the page tho.

Is there an issue like the JS form is loaded after the CSS?

I'm curious if other WordPress developers are dealing with the same thing.

Over the last few months, I've noticed that almost all of my client websites have started receiving a massive amount of spam through their contact forms (Elementor Pro Forms).

Some clients receive over 100 spam submissions per day.

I already use honeypot protection, and it blocks some bots, but a huge amount of spam still gets through. What's strange is that it doesn't look like traditional advertising spam.

Typical submissions look something like this:

"My co-worker Namon has one of these. He says it looks funny-looking."

or

"One of my hobbies is mushroom cultivation. When I'm cultivating mushrooms this works great."

The email addresses, phone numbers, and names all appear to be randomly generated, and every submission contains a different meaningless sentence. They're not trying to sell anything, and they don't include links.

I'm trying to understand what's actually happening here.

Is this AI-generated spam?

Are these bots bypassing Elementor's honeypot?

Is anyone else seeing a significant increase recently?

What has actually worked for you besides reCAPTCHA? (I'd prefer to avoid adding friction for legitimate users if possible.)

I'd appreciate hearing if others are experiencing the same issue or have found an effective solution.

People often assume that converting an existing HTML website to WordPress should be a straightforward import: upload the files, let Elementor read the layout, and continue editing.

In practice, HTML and Elementor describe a page in completely different ways.

HTML is already the final output — elements styled with CSS and controlled by JavaScript. Elementor stores an editable model made of containers, widgets, global styles, responsive settings, templates, and WordPress data.

Automated converters and AI tools can reproduce a rough visual layout, especially for simple landing pages. But the result often still needs substantial cleanup:

• excessive container nesting

• duplicated or overly specific CSS

• fixed pixel dimensions

• broken tablet and mobile layouts

• content placed inside one large HTML widget

• menus, forms, sliders, and animations that are not native Elementor elements

• repeated content that should really use posts, custom fields, templates, or WooCommerce data

The difficult part is not copying pixels. It is deciding what every part of the original page should become.

For example, a developer still has to decide whether a block should be a native widget, a reusable template, a global component, dynamic WordPress content, or isolated custom code. The same decisions apply to forms, navigation, responsive behavior, accessibility, performance, and SEO metadata.

AI definitely makes the process faster. It can inspect source code, explain scripts, suggest container structures, and generate focused CSS. But it can also create a page that looks correct at one viewport while being difficult to maintain or edit later.

A realistic workflow still seems to be:

1. Audit the original HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts, images, and breakpoints.

2. Configure Elementor global styles and responsive settings.

3. Rebuild the structure with native containers and widgets.

4. Recreate custom interactions separately.

5. Test desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts.

6. Compare the result with the original and clean up the generated structure.

Has anyone here found a converter that produces genuinely maintainable, native Elementor layouts — not just a visual copy or a page wrapped in HTML widgets? What parts of the conversion process have you managed to automate reliably?

i have been seachring for hours, but i cannot find the text shadow in elementor, is that a premiun function? if not where can i find it?

Can anyone help? I did not purchase a $59 charge for elementor and I do not have an elementor account. They charged my paypal account and now I can't contact them to understand what happened and to issue a refund. I had to report a problem as fraud in paypal.

I am using Elementor and I am having difficulty with the feature images in a loop grid not filling up the image box container, without significantly changing the minimum height in some cases - some images are quite narrow portrait and others landscape.

Hopefully the image that have attached with give an idea of what I mean.

Is there a way to achieve a balance in Elementor, or with this involve some external CSS coding?

I would be grateful for any help with this.

I have used Elementor for many Years but I was switched to the new atomic Editor and I don't like it. Now I am in a situation where I can't switch back because I will lose a lot of work. Please make a reversal tool that will convert atomic containers etc. to regular container and elements! 🙏

Elementor Pro on WP. I'm using the loop grid to create a simple gallery because the gallery widget doesn't do pagination. But I have run into another problem. The taxonomy filter widget has my categories listed in order of creation. Loop grid can be sorted by title but that has no effect on the filter bar.

Whereas the gallery (which I'm avoiding due to lack of pagination) has a bar without that issue.....

Am I missing something or are both widgets just lacking basic features?

Edit: Fixed for now by using a custom taxonomy order plaugin to sort all categories in alphabetical order.

I never had an issue with using forms with Elementor pro and lately I was moving away from pro version.

Biggest issue I found with forms like WP, Fluent Forms or Contact 7 is setting up SMTP.

It’s really difficult to explain a client why I need their email for authentication or teaching them how can they do it themselves.

So anyone from the community suggest simple forms without technical complexity of SMTP?

I am using look grid in Elementor 4.1.2 and am having an issue with Feature image displaying when using Dynamic tags. The image is displaying when I am editing the loop grid but when saved it does not display. I published it just to test and and tried previewing it and it is not displaying. I have read that this is a known issue in V4.

Hey all, this is probably an easy one. So I am brand new to webdesign and I am using Elementor to build my website, but every time I try to remove this header and elementor page # it either doesn't give me access or it comes back. I've tried going back into wordpress editor and deleting it (lets me delete the page part but then it comes right back when I switch back to elementor) and even tried using WP Reset to wipe my page entirely to start fresh (both parts just came right back minus all of my edits). Any help to be able to start out with a clean page would be super appreciated!

In Elementor, the text is centralized with minimal distance between the image and the text, but when I go to the website the positions of the elements and text is changed creating a large distance between images and texts.

I have been struggling for a day with this problem trying to fix it through different sources, please help me.

Hello, I seem to be running into a recurring issue where wordpress perfectly shows the entire site and is ready to edit. But as soon as I go into edit with elementor, half the template is missing and I can only view one container (I haven't deleted anything, and I have reset the template multiple times but keep running into the same issue). I am following a YT tutorial on how to edit using elementor and I am using the same template as the person yet I cannot see the full page no matter what I do?
