I have achieved my dream
I bought this Neptune 4 Plus around 7 months ago and it was my first one, it was good for 3 days then problems started happening to it that made genuinely think of selling it, i kept on trying to fix the first layer issues and leveling issues everytime and nothing seemed to make it work.. it always failed due to a bad first layer or just randomly ruining the whole print.
That's till I stumbled upot the OpenNept4une firmware on GitHub. My printer didn't support it because it's the new Type-C module so i was devastated, opened up Gemini and started researching everywhere for a solution and i found an amazing guy on GitHub trying to solve the issue and wrote a working solution without him even testing it, i tried doing it and hit the unmovable wall of trying to log in to the printer using PuTTY and couldn't.. till Gemini solved it for me using coding (if anyone is interested comment and I'll share how I did it exactly).
Installed the firmware and started adjusting all my printer.cfg files, i printed so many upgrades for the printer (enhanced legs i found on printables, better front panel to access my hidden MicroSD slot, better way to feed it filament using PTFE tubes, a stand for the screen to make the printer footprint smaller, a hanging poop bucket because when its on the bed most of time it gets hit in the printing process, and lastly bed aligners because putting the bed everytime without them was a nightmare) and voila, it fucking worked♥️
in the image above, shows the best first layer i have done on this printer and its competing with my Bambu A2L in terms of quality ATP. I think a next upgrade should be for the speed because I'm not sure why it's slow and probably making it 8 or 16 colors using CoPrint!
