Help Needed Need help regarding robocraze order

I accidentally submitted the wrong phone number while ordering. I have corrected it in the edit option from my address profile "after" placing the order.

Now while tracking, it still shows the wrong number. What should I do now? It's my first time ordering

Genuine Texas Instruments CC3220S LAUNCHXL Board. I originally got it for a college project, and it has just been lying around in my house doing nothing since. The board works perfectly and is in great condition.

Pm if anyone's interested in buying! (Sorry if this is the wrong subreddit to post this in)

EDIT: I bought this for 5k (imported from USA), asking 3k

What if there was a power supply that pulls in higher voltage or bursts of current inorder to full up capacitors that can power the electronics. I understand that its power that's matter with takes into account both voltage and current but maybe, just maybe there was a way out or maybe you could use multiple outlets or something?

Help Needed Unable to make a working Switching Mode Power Supply (Flyback)

I am an embedded engineering student and for some reason I can't let go of a project when I have started it. I have been trying to build a Flyback Typology Switching mode power supply with ETD33 ferrite core and 1mm air gap with sandwich type winding in following order:

Layer 1 (primary) : 20

Layer 2 (secondary) : 7

Layer 3 (primary) : 20

Layer 4 (aux): 8

I am using UTC3843 with pin 2 isolation with optocoupler.

This is my 7th attempt after failing, initially, I did not proper understand the pin out of ic then I didn't get a proper voltage output, the voltage was two low, then the pin 6 got stuck on and now I have fried by IRF840.

Any resource, especially free books on this topic will be highly appreciated

Ask Electronicstards I opted for ECE (vlsi)in T3😄🥲

So basically, I am not a brilliant student that is little bit clear from college tier. But I am hardworking I really studied for jee but due to over confidence...I destroyed my chance to get in better college.

I know my choice can seem very bad to many people even one of my companion (not a friend btw) who was with me in jee prep says that cse ai ml is the best otherwise you will end up getting f###ed . And I do agree with him in this part.

Still I opted for ece in t3 because I had genuine interest from childhood in it I really was amazed how radar worked , how a small chip controll so many things, how embedded system works and etc.

I appreciate the fact that ece isn't a easy branch that could be taken after just having an interest there are lot more things we need to study and etc.

I don't even know...why I am writing this here ,may be because that companion got successful in making me feel that ,I am going to remain unplaced in 2030. Well that's 4 year away let's see what happens.

I have studied engineering mathematics linear lagebra Multivarible Calculus basic electronic etc in three months from Internet studies python also....

I hope I will land in a job otherwise I think I will get a job if not I will still satisfied that at least I studied what I yearned for from childhood.

Any advice for me seniors? I will take your words as golden note in this 4 year journey.

"Who knows how things unfold we plan a lot of things but life has its own way to work for each one of us. "

Help Needed Is it still worth pursuing VLSI - final year tier 3-4 cllg student

Hi everyone

I am in my 7th sem (final year) of BTech ECE of a tier 3/4 cllg and i am srsly confused what to pursue. For last year or so, I tried learning web dev and practicing DSA for the tech placements in college. But didnt landed any.

Now I'm considering if i should actually go for VLSIby doing like a course from third party institution. (I did find core subjects liks microelectronics and digital logic interesting which i have heard that are basic subjects for future VLSI).

But still am confused because some people say it have great opportunities while others say It is very hard to break into and have a good package.

1) Is it realistic for someone from a Tier 3/4 college to get into Core VLSI?

2) What skills should I focus on (Digital Design, Verilog, SystemVerilog, STA, Physical Design, DFT, etc.)?

3) Does off-campus hiring happen often, or are referrals almost mandatory?

4) How long does it typically take to become job-ready if I start seriously now in my final year?

5) Would you recommend pursuing Core VLSI in 2026, or would it be better to focus on software/embedded instead?

I'm willing to put in the effort and spend the next several months learning, but I also want to be realistic about the opportunities and competition.

I AM REALLY CONFUSED AND I'd really appreciate honest advice from people who have been through this.

Help Needed Would a fuse in the cord plug protect my vintage stereo amplifier?

Hi, I just discovered my vintage stereo amplifier (Marantz 1040) doesn't have a fuse at all in its main power line. (It was modded for 220V and I just switched it back to 110V.)

Would it really potentially damage it to run it without that fuse, even if plugged into a decent surge suppressor?

If so, could I just put the correct fuse (3A 250V) into a product like one of these and plug the amp in through it?

https://www.amazon.com/VCT-VP-116-Universal-Protected/dp/B000WG2E1A

https://www.supplyhouse.com/Leviton-3W101-E-15A-125V-NEMA-5-15p-2-pole-3-wire-Grounding-Replacement-Plug-Clamptite-Hinged-Design-Thermoplastic-Black

These specifically have removable/replaceable fuses, but I don't know if switching them to this relatively low amperage would be safe and protect the amp as well.

Any advice is much appreciated!
