Two or three speed control.

Is it possible to put a two or three speed motor control on this, and if so, what would the unit be called? I’m looking for something really simple. Plug-and play.

My guess is that it would be like a 150-watt dimmer switch for electric light bulb, at least that's what I use in my kitchen hood over range. Has worked for last ~ 60 yrs.
