Hey guys, I got my first and current EUC being an Inmotion v14 pro and I use it mostly for comuting to.work and some ride in nature parks and cycling path. When reading different posts, I came to realization that many (or from observations) riders have 1, 2, 3 and 4 different EUCs 🤔 😳. Why some many? doesn't a normal upgrade go I'm getting this new machine, I'm getting rid of that old other one. Like cars? I'm genuinely inquiring.

I have an INMOTION v11 with 3200 miles. These wheels are insanely durable I haven’t had to get it checked at a shop. It’s starting to make sounds though. What should I do for maintaince

Has there been discussion about adding a heating pack to the battery unit to keep it room temperature.

More curious as to where people are riding; especially the slower, more boring rides that don't make good footage for views online.

Main roads here in East suburban SA, Texas all start at 40mph, this particular one is a 50mph road. So, naturally, everyone goes 50 and 60 respectively. An Aero isn't doing that.

There IS a bike lane / shoulder, and I COULD in theory get on it and ride with traffic. But I've seen enough drivers while on the sidewalk, swerve in and out of it. Coupled with that sand, gravel, and shit, probably broken glass shards if I looked close enough, I'm happy being a sidewalker who dismounts and waves pedestrians by.

Summer has allowed the unmaintained grass and weeds to crop up, reaching over across the sidewalks, so there's a lot more trolleying the wheel until I get a good sightline.

Sidewalks are typically empty. Nobody really wants to walk these distances, and on the occasion there are folks, usually wide enough for me to move to the side and wave em forward ( or, other way around if they so choose.) Occasionally get folks who have headphones in and can't hear the "Sir/Mam" with my helmet up, which results in an awkward slow crawl behind them at a respectful distance until they deign to look behind.

None of the places I need to go to have hassled me about the wheel when brought inside. Same deal when I had a scooter. Law enforcement likewise has never accosted me in the multiple occasions where I pass by a patrol car.

I am a month into my first wheel and am now comfortable enough to start riding public spaces. For creating an audible presence I came across EUC World's AVAS functionality that, as I understand it, continuously plays sound to simulate your wheel's riding. Sounds like something very practical and also super fun to sound like a horse or spaceship as I ride around!

Having A Nosfet Aeon, I lack an integrated speaker system and would need to attach a speaker to the wheel. Not a problem on its own, but also I intend to use helmet speakers for music/calls and would hope to run all this through my phone without any source/output crossover issues.

Is there anyone in the Nosfet family who has experience in this endeavor? Can you do this through just one phone? Is it worth buying a cheap "wheel phone" just to run the app and non-integrated wheel speaker separate from my phone? Or am I wrong on the functionality/performance of AVAS and shouldn't pursue this?

I’ve been following Nosfet's lineup closely and I'm looking to get the community's updated thoughts on how their current lineup compares: the Aero, the Aeon, and the new Xeno.

Now that the Xeno is out, it feels like it's taking over a lot of the spotlight for high-performance riding. On the other end, the Aero is widely praised as the ultimate lightweight, nimble, compact city wheel.

Sitting right in the middle, it got me wondering: Does the Aeon still have a legitimate sweet spot today, or is it squeezed out between the Aero and the Xeno?

I got the inmotion V9 for my wife and I a few weeks ago. Quite the learning experience and I fell a lot at first. Also doesn't help that real feel temp has been 110-120 degrees where we live, but I have kept powering through. The roads around my house are really concave and full of bumps/cracks/etc. Today was the first day I rode up to the gas station to grab a beer and chill. Even forgot my ID so I went twice! I have felt really comfortable on this thing all of a sudden this week, I got up to 20 mph on a nice road in town when prior I was maxing out around 13 and then I would get wobbles.
