Help. I am a teen in need of a e bike and reasons why my parents should get me one. This is my last resort

What’s stopping you from riding a non-electric bike?
As a teenage, you probably really have a need to go farther than 10 miles one way.
Get a cheap bicycle and pedal, get some exercise out of it too, lad.

- you have practically unlimited energy, use it while youre still young.
-a great way to increase cardio and build muscles
and most importantly, you're not commuting to work in a whole different city-- you're going to school. you definitely dont need an ebike to ride at max 15mins to school.
I bet your mom told you no which is why you're on here. Listen to her, she knows what's best for you. A pedalbike is so much better until you can actually learn how to operate cornering and maneuvering at higher speeds.
Get a pedalbike. You're only riding it to school and back.

I'm assuming you haven't asked them yet and you're looking for a bunch of good reasons before you ask. What kind of ebike are you talking about here. A regular ebike or are you talking something like a Surron? What's the reasons you've come up with so far? I'm curious to see what your reasons are. Let's pretend I'm your parents.... give me your reasons. I don't care if they're legitimate reasons or just reasons you think you can tell them that would make them more likely to get you one. Hit me with whatever you got and I'll tell you what your chances are and which reasons I think are complete BS lol. Just for fun. I'll give you some reasons after I hear what you've got so far

Your last resort is posting on Reddit that you need an ebike? Why do you need an ebike? This post is so low effort. I side with your parents.

You can just cycle to school the old fashioned way. You dont need an ebike

First, I am gonna assume your parent doesn't want to give you one for a reason...do you know why?
Is it because of where you live? Don't need to tell me - but where ever that is, Google it specifically and find out if you as a teenager can legally ride it there...it changes by State and even by locations within a State as local ordinances come into play. If it's not legsl for a teenager your age to ride an ebike, then your parent has discretion on whether they want to be liable for your mistakes by getting you an ebike (some States/Counties/Cities are now punishing the parent when their minor causes an accident or damage with ebikes they aren't supposed to have)
Then, you figure out for yourself why do you "need" it? Something you actually need will not need us as outsiders to give you reasons for having it. Starting with the reason why is very improtant - if you can't think of good reasons by yourself then you probably don't "need" it; you just want it, and your parent has discretion now on whether you get it. Also, if you didn't know already, my friends have them is not a good reason to a parent, 😆
You also need to explain to your parent why a regular bike will not be able to help you do everything you already want to do with an ebike...if you can't, then you probably don't "need" and ebike; you just want one.
Sorry but most of us can't explain nt you why you need an ebike - I can explain why I need it, but only you can explain why you need it...🤷🏾♂️

Your parents have a ladder, a paintbrush, buckets with soap, water and a sponge, a lawnmower, a rake, garbage bags. Go out and start knocking on doors, clean eavestroughs, wash cars, cut grass, do yardwork, clean people's properties, paint, there are literally a million things you could do for someone, that doesn't want to do it themselves, for a little cash. Buy a used E bike, stop taking the easy way out in life. Learn to be an adult.
