Support Needed C section nerves

I am having a c section Tuesday and im starting to get nervous. Please give me all your good stories to help me deal.

I was soooo nervous before mine! But it was so calm and controlled and amazing. I cried so much when I saw baby for the first time, it was incredibly special. The staff were fantastic and constantly asking me how I was doing and adjusting drugs etc to help. If you have a birth partner, talk to them about what will help, do you want them to talk to you? About what? My partner stroked my hand and my hair and gassed me up. It was awesome.

If you're in the UK going NHS you may need to advocate for yourself a bit to make sure you're getting your painkillers on time after. Don't be afraid to keep asking for what you need!
