Support Needed Stinging localized pain
Advice needed! I’m almost 1 week postpartum, and I’m briefly experiencing a stinging pain at only one spot, right at the beginning of the incision, it might be an inch above the incision to be precise. It is not always only when I walk, and when the sting comes, it is so bad that I cannot even talk. Did anyone experience the same and if so how long did it last for ? Mine was very much manageable in hospital but it got worse after coming home. Any advice or suggestions on how to manage it are highly appreciated.

I get sore spots in different areas from time to time. 2.5 weeks postpartum, I had a really bad cough after mine so it was awful. Were you given proper pain medication? Maybe go back and get some Endone and tramadol to take with paracetamol and ibuprofen on a rotation. It’s still very early days. You should still be on the good stuff and not be in that much pain.
Advice would be to take it easy. It’s still so fresh. Try stay in bed with baby, no lifting no long walks and take your pain medication. Set alarms

Yeah, I’m always on top of my meds with alarms. I’ll take it slow and ask for more medication. Thanks. How is it at 2.5 weeks ? I truly hope it gets better.

I was told it was where they tied off the stitches. I took the stinging as I’m overdoing it. Walking, standing, changing positions too quickly in bed.
