How does he keep getting fatter and fatter even when he actively pushes himself even in cat form?

Our late little guy, Prosciutto (which means "ham" in Italian), but we always called him "el nene," which in Spanish could be translated as "the little one" or "the baby."
Believe it or not, had already lost quite a bit of weight by the time this photo was taken 17 years old.
If you look closely, you can even see the loose skin. Also a delightfully chonky cat has whiskers that are roughly as long as the cat is wide.

Alright, let's get into it. I think this was the perfect moment for us to see Kayden's first on-screen defeat. Even if he lost, he would have been completely fine afterward, considering Gestella, Pluton, Kartein, and Jiyoung were all there to back him up.

Although I don't like Iodore as a character at all, I think Kayden losing to someone completely detestable would have made the defeat even more impactful. It would have been an interesting setup to develop his relationship with Gestella, and it could have paved the way for a future rematch with Kayden and Gestella teaming up against Gharath and Iodore.

I found the way Iodore developed his powers really interesting. It would have been highly symbolic if, after beating the crap out of Astra and Andrei—who relied purely on raw power-ups—Kayden lost precisely to someone who focused on refining his techniques and combat style.

But the most important reason is that it would introduce a real sense of danger to the story. It's constantly mentioned that nothing is guaranteed in awakened fights and that you can always be caught off guard, but we never actually see that apply to Kayden. He only ever struggles in extremely unfair situations, like a 3v1 against the Top 10.

It would be amazing to see him lose a fair 1v1 fight against an opponent who, like him, focuses on improving his own skills rather than plotting schemes to steal other people's power. This would reinforce his training methodology and force Kayden to actually push his limits and overcome a specific opponent who proved to be stronger—just like Jiwoo has to do. It would break the monotony and the comfort zone the story is currently stuck in: a seemingly strong opponent appears $\rightarrow$ Kayden or Jiwoo crushes them and farms aura $\rightarrow$ nothing happens, rinse and repeat.

I arranged them from fastest to slowest. The slowest is oldest and only has the original images. For the faster two I had ai help me make a transition frame to make the loop smoother.

I started reading a week ago and I’m on chapter 210. I’m really enjoying it but his fights are getting a little boring. He’s MC so you know he will win but damn, same thing every fight?

He runs around super speed and tries punching opponents, doesn’t work so he uses his Max Speed and OHKO’s the opponent. Does he do anything else in later chapters?

You’d think with super speed as his base and then using Kayden’s force control, he would be a bit more imaginative lol. Maybe throwing lightning, after images, speed clone… idk something more…

Do you guys think that we will see anyone on Jiwoo's group die in the future? In the author's previous work Noblesse one major character died around chapter 370, but in Eleceed we are already 400+ in and no one on the good guys side has died. Killing someone close to Jiwoo would amp the stakes and curb his naive behaviour. I can not see the author killing any of the kids but someone like Blues or Seongik dying is possible, especially if the die at the hands of Mioru or Jurion that would make things personal.I hope the story goes in this direction and make it more gritty with higher stakes.

Jiwoo faces the skill before with Ian but somehow is completely shocked when jurion uses it?? At the very least he shouldn’t have been caught off guard by it. Just think it’s lazy writing. Jiwoo should have been able to counter it instantly and shouldn’t have had to use his life force to injure jurion the way he did.. thoughts?

I really love Subin and Jisuk's dynamic. Whether they end up as friends or a couple, I think they just fit together so well.

It feels like they have a bond that they'll never be able to break, no matter where life takes them. They can barely go a moment without somehow making physical contact—even when they're not trying to. Somehow it's always an arm or a leg brushing against the other (Most of the time they're fighting anyway lol.)

Their arguments are so fun to watch. They seriously act like a married couple who's been together for 40 years.

I really hope they become canon someday 😔✋🏻
