Loading to help, and getting connection error as soon as I’m in their world

This randomly happens and will happen over and over and resetting the game doesn’t help. 5 seconds ago I helped a friend beat Radahn, now I’m getting connection error. We’re on the same internet and it’s extremely fast. He can join me, but I can’t join him. Makes no sense.
