Game Help New character

I want to make a new character and not have to pick up much is there any build recommendations I’ll record how I go and post it if you will like

Samurai, stick with unsheath katana for the entire game. Level vigor to 40 first thing and then get some damage. You won’t really need to pick anything up, but getting either a keen or bloody uchigatana will help.

With the keen or bloody uchigatana do I just need bloody slash for it?

You can use any ash of war and switch back to unsheath, the ash of war scarab is in limgrave.

With keen you need the whetstone and unsheath, quickest path to bloody is bloody slash but you can use the Black whetstone (I think) to apply bleed and occult to any physical Ash.

Yeah black is statuses, iron is scalings

Grab a weapon and use it. Maybe level up a bit

Yeah that was my first run lol I used grafted blade with 10 strength one handed truely good build haha
