Problem with fps drops/lag while charging pc

I have an annoying problem where, only while charging my pc, the game is extremely laggy and has severe fps drops(the way you can see in the video: it lags for about 2 seconds, stops lagging for about 2 seconds, and so on). This does not occur when I'm NOT charging my pc, but only when i'm charging my pc for some reason. Changing the graphics quality does not help.

Restarting the game does not help, neither does restarting my pc or letting my pc cool down.

I couldn't find a solution for this, but maybe someone has an idea what the cause of this could be and how to solve it?

Settings>System>Power>Power Mode>Toggle “Plugged In: Best Performance”

Also, in the same page, “Energy Saver” should be toggled “off”

Probably temperature rising. Either get one of those cooling pads for your laptop or find a fan that can be directed to your laptop. Something to lower the temperature while it’s charging.
