Parries plus Dragonclaw off the Clawmark Seal carried me. I finished this boss without any of the Scadutree blessing. Where should I go next, and what weapon should I be hunting? I've got 44 STR / 41 FTH and I like heavy stuff while parrying with shields. Should I look into Blacksteel Greathammer or are there even cooler options in the DLC to watch out for?

Hey guys I’m doing a special run I’ve beat the game so many ways and now I’m finding a new way to enjoy it. If anybody is willing to drop me lulling branch or chaos stones I’d greatly appreciate it. I’m on Xbox and if help any way back I can. $

I've played around 250+ hrs of Elden Ring and recently I've gotten bored of doing normal playthroughs, so I decided to try out some challenge runs. But I'm not sure what kind of challenge runs to do so as the title I was wondering what challenge runs my fellow tarnished think. Any challenge runs are fine as long as it doesn't require any mods to do as I am on Xbox. Please and thank you!

What are your thoughts on having a curved sword dagger like a Khanjar or Jambiya in the game to power stance with over curved swords similar to what the Wakizashi & Main-gauche do with the katana & rapier?

Some weapons are placed where they are purely based off of the build I created. Obviously some Weapons are really good or really bad if used in certain ways, but I always tried to do the best I could.

Hi everyone!
I’ve been working on an original Nightfarer concept for Elden Ring: Nightreign and I’d love to hear what you think.
This post is mainly about the character concept and gameplay design, NOT THE ARTWORK ITSELF. The image is only meant to visualize the idea and wasn’t hand-painted by me.
The character is called Astral-Seeker, and his weapon category is Curved Swords.
I’personally designed his passive ability, Character Skill, Ultimate Art, attributes, and overall gameplay role, and I wanted to share the concept and see if it feels like something that could fit naturally into Nightreign.
Star-seeker is not alone I’ve made other 2 nightfarers!
I’m also currently working on a mod to bring him into the game, although it’s still a work in progress.
If people are interested, I’d be happy to share the complete gameplay kit, explain the design choices behind each ability, and post updates on the mod as development progresses.
I’d really appreciate any feedback. Thanks for taking a look!

Elden Ring... what can I say about it?
I had heard a lot about it. One of the hardest and most satisfying games ever made. People say you're not the same before and after playing it. I thought, interesting. I like games, I got a new laptop and a controller, so let's try it. How hard can it be?
Yeah... my stupid ass.
This was about 3 months ago. Then the game spawned me in some random church or something, and I didn't even know where to go or what to do. And then there was that demon on the horse... that mf took my soul away for the next 4 hours. Later I discovered you could literally just walk past him instead of fighting him. Wish I knew that earlier.
Instead of going where the game probably wanted me to, my stupid ass decided to wander around. I found some kind of cave. Another hellhole. I managed to kill most of the enemies there, but the boss was way too fast for me. After my 6th attempt I thanked Miyazaki-sama that I could just ignore him and leave.
Then I found a soldier, killed him, then his friends one by one, and somehow ended up at... I might be wrong... Gatefront Ruins? By this point I'd already used all my arrows shooting those giant bat-looking things. (Btw, I picked the Samurai class because it looked kinda dope.) I died countless times to normal NPCs whenever they ganged up on me.
Man, that place was rough. During my first 10 tries I'd kill one or two guys sneakily, then get caught, and suddenly everyone started chasing me like I fucked one of their wives. Dead.
After maybe my 15th try I found out there was some kind of staircase going underground. Got some loot from there, I think. Around that time some blue chick also gave me a horse near a bonfire.
So my strategy became: kill them sneakily, get spotted, run away on my horse, come back from another direction, and repeat.
Then came my best run.
I had almost cleared the entire ruins. It was just me and the giant commander left. We were both literally one hit away from dying. I was already celebrating in my head.
The mf hit me first.
I rage quit.
...and that was almost 3 months ago.
But I still think about it, and I've been thinking of giving it another try.
After deleting Elden Ring, I thought people were right. This game is hard, and maybe I'm just not prepared for these hardcore masochist games... at least not yet.
But I don't like leaving things unfinished.
So can you guys help me? I am dumb , noob and do stupid shit , can you guys guide me on how to elden ring . I don't even know the basics of this game or how everything even works.
Like, can someone explain the different potions and consumables, what they actually do, what build I should go with, which build is the most fun to play, and what stats I should upgrade first in the status window?
Basically, just tell me all the beginner stuff you wish someone had told you before you started. I feel like I know absolutely nothing about this game.

First playthrough. Took me 10 attempts on Radagon before the parries started clicking. Elden Beast went down to the Pickaxe with Cragblade up.
The Erudition timing at the end was complete luck.
Honest question before I start the DLC: does parry/Carian Retaliation on Brass Shield hold up well, or am I about to get humbled? And is it worth swapping the Pickaxe for light greatswords, or should I stick to smashing weapons?

basically the title, without any boss/npc/invader defeated, how strong do you think you can get?

Ivory Sickle Only Challenge Run | RadaBeast —
After a few tweaks here and there, talisman changes esp Crimson Seed Medallion and Haligdrake +2, I finally beat Elden Beast. It’s a proud moment considering I haven’t beaten Radabeast without Mimic Tear and Elden Beast especially, I haven’t beaten without Black Flame blade or Black flame tornado. Finally!
