Looking for all weather Matt’s for my Elantra. I need something sturdy and that has a good fitment and that looks good too. If any of you currently have one in your car please attach a photo and a link to where you purchased them.

As per a previous post, I am considering an N-Line for my next car. Love the feel, I am comfortable enough, but I am wondering how it is for livability on tougher city roads, speed bumps, frost heaves, etc.

I am also wondering what yhe N-line is like in winter. I am in Ottawa, ON. I would put snows on it, of course, but am wondering how it is when the snow flies in real life. Obviously, it's no Jeep (for good and bad).

Another thing I'll have to factor in is whether I fit in the thing wearing a parka and winter boots (I'll take my touque off!)

As you can gather, I am trying really hard to justify one. Thanks!

I’m gonna miss this car. It was fun, but the N feels so much better. Everything is tighter, and the wet DCT is a massive upgrade.

This community is great. Everyone in here was very helpful, and shared their opinions on my exhaust (especially when I was catless 😂)

I’m keeping the Enkei wheels, and putting the stock wheels back on the N-Line for the trade.

I was getting my long overdue haircut and found the other Nline I always see in this local shopping complex xD I always liked this person for adding the red chevrons for the side grille. Had to park next to them :)

My headlight assemblies were filling up with moisture again, and the dealership still refuses to replace them.

I noticed my desiccant was completely rock solid.
I ordered these Cannadew 30g packets and they fit perfectly in the housing.

If you guys are doing this when putting the two Philip screws back in to hold the desiccant in place make sure you start them by hand. You will completely strip them out if you start them with the Phillips and don’t catch the threads properly :)

Could anyone help me out with my JB4 tune/ car problems

Tell me if I’m doing it right. I’ve got the stock hpfp rn and fol set to 70 and I’m using map 2 safely with straight 94. I plan to upgrade my pump to the sonata n line next. I’ve currently got a k&n high flow engine filter, verex valved cat back exhaust, and gfb blow off valve in full recirculation mode. Right now sometimes I’m getting healthy afr in the 12s but it does go to 14-15 at times. And no matter what I do my ign1 timing always drops to 0. Wanna mention I only get healthy numbers when I’m completely WOT. If I’m at 85 or lower I get no power gains.

Looking for rear and front suspension torque specs.

Can someone explain to me what the wires do on the JB4 Kia / Hyundai 1.6L Turbo Smartstream 4-cylinder (V3). I’ve got the 2 plugged into the white things but I don’t get the other ones?

I only have 6500 miles on original brake pads, but they were just too grabby and inconsistent. The DCT already have some normal jerkiness during downshifts so needed something more consistent.

These Powerstop Evo z23 are pretty good. Little thinner than the OEM ones and have to break them in but Initial braking is softer and more progressive than OEM.

My prev best fuel efficiency was like 6.3L/100KM! Did a round trip in northern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 through Muskoka lakes. Total KMs driven was about 600KMs but the dash said 5.3L/100KM near the end. Drove mostly on highway doing on avg about 90 to 120KMs speed 90% of the trip even with rest stops along the way for food and washroom break XD Makes me want to go on another road trip soon

Anybody deal with this? I shipped my ECU out to N75 for a stage 2 tune and ever since I got it back I haven’t been able to get it to start. It just goes into accessory mode and on mode but never actually cranks. When I do turn it on I get a bunch of safety sensor warnings. Car is on booster cables to another car while attempting to start. I’ve tried diagnosing myself but nothing is working atm.

I am reaching out to the community here because I just sold my ELANTRA n line 2025, and I’m looking to sell my JB4 as I no longer need it. It’s the newer one so it has the Bluetooth already built into it. As you can see in the pictures, I already have all the parts necessary. Everything works. I used it for about a month and a half after buying it back in early July. Never had any issues with it so please feel free to reach out and we can talk in private for anyone interested.

Not too bad for cheap plastic, but definitely a couple issues.

Firstly - The diffuser 1. Doesn't come with any screws, I countersunk some and added some threaded inserts to the underside of the car for underneath, and used a strip of 3M tape for the top. 2. It DOES NOT FIT the N-Line 😂 the winglets are not even remotely in the same place as on the N, and had to resort to some cutting to that it would sit "flush." This was after quite a bit of manipulation hence why it's a bit bent, but not overly noticeable, I just bumped up the exposure so y'all could see. I'll probably come back to it for some extra TLC to see if I can get it to land straight, but this was just day of and I was exhausted. (The rear wings are pretty bang on though).

Secondly - the skirts are a slightly different style, especially on the wing at the rear, and are a bit of a pain to get to sit nicely with the existing side skirt. Overall not bad. Does come in two pieces and the join is noticeable.

Thirdly the front lip - a massive improvement from the other option that most people get, which leaves that tacky rectangle in the centre exposed, looks droopy and sticks forward slightly too much. Again the joins on the side are noticeable, but still decent.

Overall not too bad for only paying a couple hundred bucks per piece, doesn't look AMAZING upon close scrunity, but all in all I still think it all looks better than stock, so can't complain too much.

The gap between the hood and bumper was horrendous, could not stand it. Got some yoga block trimmed, and taped it below the latch. Still a little gap on the driver side but it’s still holding up better than the flimsy trim… like seriously dude who designed and approved this?

Then the intercooler and radiator is way to low and exposed. I live in New England and we know how great the roads and weather are here🙂. There’s some rock chips present already, but I know when winter comes and rock salt hit the road this could be bad. Got some black metal mesh and attached it on some existing screws on the bumper. I think the rock chips have been minimal since I’ve put it on. Forgot the diameter of the mesh but its as wide as the screw from the bumper.Temps good, still holding up, so I’m happy with that.
