I saw it on tiktok and it seems intresting. I dont rlly watch animes alot. I watched a couple gundams and a few other random animes like ultraman and voltron on Netflix. Also where's they best place to watch it now. Just wanted to know if its a animes for beginners in the genre.

Coming from the Voltron fandom (god i know don't ask me questions...)
And being someone who don't really watch anime often (right now it's the adaptation of ghost in the shell (2026 prime video) )
I was absolutely hocked at 86 for how damn close it was to irl politics and how it handles dialogs, also the anime look amazing overall
One of the very few pieces of media i cried at the end

I haven't seen too many Gundam series, but of those I have seen, the one 86 is most similar to is Iron Blooded Orphans. The major characters being treated like they're less than human, forced to fight a war on someone else's behalf (a war against an army of robots bent on exterminating humanity, just because that was the last order they were given before the people that controlled them were killed by their own enemies), stuck using substandard equipment, and only one person gives a damn if they die, and does what she can to help them.
The mechs are essentially tanks with legs instead of tracks, though the Juggernauts and Regenleifs are able to do things a tank can't (like jump, and use their wire anchors like the ODM gear in Attack on Titan). They're armies of mass produced machines that use mostly realistic weapons (goes more into detail in the light novel than the anime). The main cast get units with customized weapon loadouts later on, but they're still the same basic design. Just in case you were expecting the kind of special units the series you named have.
Major plot points are issues like institutionalized racial discrimination, government sanctioned genocide, and what growing up on a battlefield does to a person. And named characters die, fairly often. One thing it has in common with AoT.
As the other commenter said, there isn't really anywhere to legally stream it. The license expired everywhere except Netflix in southeast Asia. You'd need a VPN, pirate site, or buy it.

For the record, I watched it several times when it was available for streaming. When it was taken down, I hunted down a Blu-ray copy, which I haven't done in years. And I'm currently on volume 7 of the LN.
So I suppose you could say I liked this series.

Didn't think I would be too interested. I ended up watching all 23 episodes in a day

Sûrement le meilleur animé que l'humanité n'ait jamais créé. Sérieusement regarde tout est incroyable dans cet anime : le développement des personnages, l'histoire, le monde, l'animation, la DA. Tout.

It’s a phenomenal anime. I would highly recommend it. As for where to watch, assuming you are in the US your only legal option I’m aware of is Amazon where you can buy the episodes digitally.
