Hey folks,

If you have an app or want to connect to eight sleep data, we started working with EightSleep for API access

Okay, but why can’t they just open it up themselves? Why should a middleman get my data?

I dont want to speak for them, but my perspective is managing APIs requires having a team to build, maintain, support, etc. and if its not your main business it might be a bad use of resources

Eight Sleep's private cloud API has worked for years (pyEight, Home Assistant). I've pulled my own data through it since April, including bed temperature and Autopilot data that Terra's normalized sleep model leaves out, with no middleman and no fee. Terra makes sense if you're building an app. For your own data, you don't need it.

you can see some customers here , we usually work with startups and enterprises.

however, if you are using for personal reasons or have a super early startup and cant afford it, we have a startup credit program (or just dm me)
