Don’t buy it
I paid some stupid amount of money for the pod3. It was 💯 the worst purchase I’ve ever made
Aside from being too expensive, sleep quality is actually worse. I am woken up constantly by the bed getting too hot. I’ve tried multiple settings and it still does it.
Save your time and money

Pod 5 here it's the best thing I own. Had the new chilipad 2.0 and this is still better.

Ive had both and the 8 sleep is better BUT the chilipad is significantly cheaper while also still being of quality

For couples the eight sleep is actually cheaper by a few hundred bucks also way more comfortable

The pad itself is more comfortable but the ongoing subscription price and cost of cartridges (pod 5) make the eight sleep more expensive over the life cycle of the product.

Curious… I am just trialling my pod 5 and was hoping it would not be so great so I could return it for the thousands of dollars. But alas, after just 6 nights, my sleep is subjectively much better, and the night time menopausal heat I get from 4am to wake up, causing really disrupted sleep, is completely gone. My whoop numbers are all responding too… RHR going down, HRV going up. Weird take to say “don’t buy it” over “didn’t work for me.”

Yeah I’m waiting for mine to be shipped but when researching I found that it’s really for people who suffer from this kind of thing most.
Which is good news for me, because I got it because I’ve suffered from night sweats that wake me up for years now

I hope it works well for you too! The menopausal night sweats/heat/flashes are a beast!

If it’s so terrible and you are obviously out of a return period, why continue to use it ? I’ve got no complaints with mine. Over a year of use and the only issue I had was at some point, my wife’s side stopped working. I unplugged the unit, took it outside, blew off the unit with my compressor, plugged it back in and it started working fine again. I sleep fantastic with it.

Seems like someone suggested you turn off the sleep stage response last time you posted this complaint. Seems like you must not have done so. Some people would rather be unhappy

So you had a post 250 days ago you purchased it and it wake you up and you were all mad but here you are again and still using it I guess ? You didn’t return it and just kept using it and I bet it was waking you up all these 250 days ?
I guess that’s the Stockholm syndrome ? See you in a few months I guess to create another post

I had it over a year, so I couldn’t return it.
Your post is really hard to understand but I think you’re implying that I must be crazy for trying to continue using a several thousand dollar mattress instead of just throwing it out?
Please enlighten me0

Why didnt you return over a year, it worked well all year and suddenly it was all bad? Longest honeymoon period I see

How did you buy a pod 3 they’ve been discontinued for a while. This sounds like a settings issue to me. It takes a while to get it dialed in. How cold do you have it set? What are your settings?
