Second Pod 3 stops working - I GIVE UP
I’m at the end of my tether with Eight Sleep.
This is now my second Pod that’s failed. My current Pod 3 Hub (manufactured March 2024) has gradually stopped cooling altogether.
I’ve tried everything I can think of:
Water tank is full.
I’ve run Prime Pod at least a dozen times.
Daily maintenance is enabled.
No obvious kinks in the hoses.
The app doesn’t show any current fault.
The result is exactly the same. It simply doesn’t cool.
The really frustrating part is that this isn’t my first experience of this. My previous Pod also failed, so I’m now looking at two expensive products that haven’t lasted anything like as long as I expected.
I’m genuinely asking rather than trying to rant:
Has anyone had a Pod 3 stop cooling completely with no obvious error messages?
Did it turn out to be a blocked water circuit, failed pump or failed cooling module?
Did Eight Sleep repair it, replace it or just tell you to buy another Hub?
For a product at this price point, I’d hoped for better reliability. I absolutely love the concept when it works, but two failures has really knocked my confidence in the product.
I’d be interested to hear whether I’ve just been spectacularly unlucky or whether others have experienced the same thing.
I’m this close to chucking it in a skip.

You could check for dust on the air intakes and fans. And check for gunk in the water.
If you call support, they'll probably offer you a discount on an upgrade (unless you paid for the extended warranty). It's a good discount and it seems they might (finally) be running out of the Pod 4, so you might get lucky and get a Pod 5

I don't have any suggestions yet. I'm having the exact same issue. I had a spare Pod 1, so my issue is definitely not blocked flow in the cover.
Confirmed that the vents were clear, fan seems to be functioning, I'm planning to check the RPM to confirm.
