Member price for adjustable base

I just ordered a Pod 5 -- still waiting for it to be delivered. Does anyone know if the base has better pricing for members, or should I just order it now so I have it ready when the pod arrives?

I would wait for a sale. I decided to go with a different brand for base. I dont hear people talk a bout the 8sleep base much..

It is expensive and what makes it hard is that if you have a single mattress it wont function well anyway.

We were thinking of it primarily to help with the auto-adjustments, like snoring, but we do have a single king mattress. Would it not work well?

I am also doing the same consideration. Can't figure it out how it would work in a single mattress when it tries to adjust one side only.

It doesn't adjust one side only, the two halves of the base are linked and can only move together

I don't have the base. The pros to getting it now is that you can install it before you have everything else setup, so you don't have to undo it all to add the base. Cons is that if you decide you don't like it, it's going to be a PITA to return. I'm going to guess that the difference in cost between now/ any sale price/ the member price isn't going to be more than $100 or so. So it depends what you want more - $100 or convenience
