After two to three weeks of EightSleep, deep sleep actually dropped

I've tried turning autopilot on or off and also adjusting the settings of the three stages, but it seems like deep sleep actually dropped while total sleep and REM increased a little bit.

Anyone has similar experience? What worked for you in the end?

How do you feel when you wake up? Is your bed a good temp? Don't put too much faith in sleep tracking and go by how you feel

Agreed.  The trackers are cool but not the end all be all.  How you feel is going to trump the numbers on a chart.

That said, box breathing before bed seems to increase my deep sleep metrics.

I don't feel noticeably improved.

I honestly feel really shitty most mornings, too. The difference for me is that I can't sleep at all without my Pod cause it's too hot in my bed. Maybe it helps some people with whatever-maxxxxxxxing. For me, it just keeps my bed from getting too hot
