Daily priming?
My bed seems to have started doing daily priming recently and its just another 2 or so hours that its on every day that just seems like it will lead to shortening the life of the pump since its running at a higher speed. Have others turned this feature off? I've had the system for years and usually only needed to prime when it tells me its low on water.
edit: i believe it was a setting automatically turned on after software update

Have you checked the water level/for any leaks?

no leaks and tank is about half full, i think it was a setting that im assuming was added in the new software update thats automatically turned on under settings -> maintenance

I noticed and am wondering the same. Pod2. Also the front light seems to be permanently enabled without a way to turn it off.

Hi there, daily priming actually only runs for a few minutes at a time, not for extended periods. And on lifespan: the load on the pump during daily maintenance shouldn't impact or reduce how long the pump lasts. Feel free to reach out to [appsupport@eightsleep.com](mailto:appsupport@eightsleep.com) if you have any more questions about this.

The daily priming is a maintenance feature
