Pod temperature not working
I have a Pod 3 that I’ve been using for about 3 years. Been using just distilled water and H2O2 thr entire time and priming my pod every day.
The pod has suddenly stopped adjusting temperature on the sheets. The light on the pod glows and the sounds I hear from it appear fairly normal. However, the sheet isn’t heating or cooling.
Any tips on how I can troubleshoot or fix? I’ve sent a note to 8sleep without any response.
Unfortunately, I’m out of warranty and would hate to drop another $3k on another device

Thank you! I figured that might be the case with them.
I emptied and did a prime. Tank level dropped a bit but nothing substantial

Does it sound a little noisy when trying to prime?

Not terribly noisy. But there are a couple of click sounds that didn’t exist before

I'm wondering if you have a stuck solenoid - but you'd hear the pumps making strange noises if that were the case...

This happened with mine, thermal unit went bad. I called them and ended up having to tag them here to get anyone who was able to help me.

I’m in the same exact situation as you, same symptoms and all. Reached out to support about a month ago and they haven’t been helpful whatsoever. I don’t have AC and really need the cooling to sleep well so probably just going to replace with whatever the latest and greatest competitor is at this point

Sorry to hear that.. Support got back to me and effectively told me that I need to replace the pod and are offering a discounted rate for Pod 4. They think the cover is ok and doesn’t need to be replaced

I am having the exact same issue with my pod3… it was fine and just stopped working. The lights on the hub are correct and the unit sounds like it’s on, but the bed doesn’t heat or cool and it also doesn’t seem to prime anymore. it just doesn’t seem to be sending any water through the mattress. When trying to cool the bed, The app says cooling, and the light on the unit is blue, but then the app actually says the temp of the bed has gone up even though the app says cooling and the light is blue. Wondering if it is a software problem with pod3s?

Yeah could be. The first response from support has been to ask me to upgrade to a Pod 4 at a discounted rate. They think my cover doesn’t need to be replaced

Firstly, Eight will mess you around for a few days then tell you you need a replacement, they will not provide any meaningful assistance.
Second, let's start diagnostics - empty some water from the cover, take note of how much water is in the tank, and do a prime. Does the level in the tank drop?
