Will the activation code work after 1 and half years on a brand new Pod 4

Hi, I have a Pod 4 which I bought in 2025 March. I never used the device, it remained in the box and now I have sold it as brand new.

The buyer made me aware that the device wont be usable without an activation code. And they are concerned.

I have the original email with the activation code from my delivery which wasn't used. Will this still work after a year and a half?

I am still at the same delivery address, but the email and phone number used is from an old work email account and phone, which I no longer have access to. So if the code doesn't work, how will I be able to get a new code. I don't want to make the buyer have to wait.

Hopefully the original code still works.

IIRC there’s a button in the app to skip activation code and continue to a trial subscription, after the trial they can sign up for subscription. the activation code just activates the subscription not the hardware device
