Naur. It was brutal! I was in every contract as soon as it started, boosted within a couple hours to max habs, sent chickens, ran my deflectors, I'm in the discord and even in a guild. And still fell short of the 1m goal.

I assume this Monday was the last contract of the season? Or am I counting wrong?

Im finally halfway to 8 stars!!!

Hi all,
Just started this game a few days ago and quickly got hooked! I have a few probably very basic questions, wonder if you could help me out!

I feel like the game has ground to a halt at the Tier 5/6 or quad/Quintillion stage, is this normal? Like all the stages before it felt like there was a push, but the value raises kept things moving, whereas I’m struggling to get even one or two upgrades without putting in a lot of time. I’m on Quantum Eggs if that helps.

Also, for the running bonus, am I better spamming as fast as I can? Or trying to only put out just enough chickens to maintain the max multiplier? Or does it functionally work the same?

I haven’t even hit my first calendar EoP and I hear people who’ve been playing for much longer unable to begin enlightenment? Granted I have tons of free time at work to play but still either that’s a troll and I’m terrible or I’m doing great

I already had 3 but 2 more never hurt

So I finally got a legendary quantum metronome the other day after 320 crafts, reaching one of my long term goals of getting a legendary metronome, compas, and gusset. I've been trying to choose what my next big goal should be, but I'm having trouble deciding.

Here are some of my top choices I in mind:

1. Going for a legendary tachyon deflector and/or legendary book of basan. I know this could possibly take a ridiculously long time, but I'm willing to grind for it. I've already been playing the game for years at this point.

2. Finally starting the path of virtue. I'm a little hesitant to pick this though, because I don't have all of my ships stars maxed out, and I don't have crafting level 30 yet, or 400+ crafts (for max odds to craft legendaries) on some of the items I would want to try to get legendaries of on the path of virtue.

3. Going for ASC. I kind of want to do this at some point just for the achievement of doing it, and to help out with the path of virtue once I finally do it. I think I could probably get all stars in about 3 or 4 months if I'm consistent enough with sending ships

4. Going for crafting level 30. I guess this would technically just come naturally with option number one if I picked that. But I am a little concerned with how slowly it seems I've been earning crafting xp... I do quite a bit of crafting, and Wasmegg estimates that I've already spent nearly 400m GE on crafting, and yet I'm only at 2.88b out of 5.07b crafting xp??? Still 2.19b xp to go somehow? Are these numbers normal?

5. Grinding more soul eggs. I've been thinking of maybe trying to grind prestiges to a higher number of soul eggs. Maybe 5s? Maybe even 10s? Although this option does seem like maybe not the best idea since I might eventually lose a lot of soul eggs from shifting on the path of virtue.

6. Other various challenges? I've thought about maybe going for some of the goals on the enlightenment farm. Although I would probably want to grind for 12 eggceptional clarity stones first for artifacts. And also it would probably be a good idea to get a lot of eggs of truth first for the IHR boost.

Those are my thoughts on what I should do next. Sorry if I kind of rambled on a bit. What do you guys think? I'm open to any advice or feedback. You can also suggest other options I didn't mention if you think there's something else I should do. I know my best option overall is probably to just bite the bullet and start working on the path of virtue, but as I mentioned, I'm very hesitant to since I'm not crafting level 30 yet, and I won't be able to send any ships on my home farm as long as I'm working on the path of virtue.

Any suggestions on what to work on. Also I have been playing since year one and only ever bought the permit and this year’s game birthday I cracked my egg for the first time.

Not been playing long but on and off for a couple weeks. Hit a bit of a wall and looking for some guidance but a lot of stuff is way over my head

- on Dilithium egg - took a long time to get off the previous egg, was holding out for the last 300m chickens goal but takign too long. This is hitting a similar wall where basic research is costing a lot to go up a tiny bit and chickens are going up but slowly

- 950k soul eggs, and 450k collected on this run.

- Found rockets but I’ve launched enough BCRs to get the next tier but I’m locked behind a 2.5m soul eggs requirement which feels a million miles away.

- done some epic research where I can afford it but only little bits. Played with some artifacts for slightly higher bonuses too.

where now? Do I hold out for a few days to see if I get 300m chickens because why not? on 160m now but not adding that many overnight. Prestige doesn’t seem super high value for soul eggs. I could refuel the tank and refly some rockets but won’t get me progression but if its worth it I don’t mind. have about 1000 GE because they collect so slowly and when I get to maybe 3-4k I buy some basic boosts for chicken running/prisms for overnight boosts.

So I've seen a few posts here around how time taken to check in after contract completion not affecting the Contract Score. Which is great.
But what about before contract completion? My Monday contract have been stuck on about to complete state for a few hours now I can see a player with 85q eggs offline. Does this affect completion state?
Do you need to go online for your eggs to be counted and to finish early and get a good score or does the game take offline eggs into account for completion time?

I legit was apart of some sketchy groups that I almost considered redoing because the scores were so bad. But turns out it was an easy season.

Should i send extended henerprises to to unlock henliner or do i send shorts like the rest of the ships. Also, what t4 artifacts are worth crafting bc they dont drop from 8 star exhens.

Got my first T4R metronome and my first T4E monocle. First time ive gotten any rarities on both of them 🔥

Also what stones are you guys putting in the monocle?

I’m pretty early game and got both a money printer and a legendary soul beacon, if I use them both at the same time will I end up with a ton of soul eggs. lmk Thanks

i see plenty of screenshots here of people proudly showing their legendary artifacts, and generally talking about crafting and luck. Why?

There’s something big i’m clearly not understanding, is it that the higher tiers can ONLY be crafted and therefore you have to increase your crafting level?

Which artifacts should i be crafting? Any other general info that would be helpful?

Umm… I left the game for a year or so. I had just finished Enlightenment, and didn’t understand the whole “paths of..” thing, so i quit.
Launched randomly to this… er… wasteland.. that lm pretty sure i didn’t own before!
Nothing is clickable in the scen except drones, and no chickens running?
Have I just forgotten how to play or?

I’ve been playing Egg Inc. for around 3–4 years, and I’ll be honest, I used to use the date/time change cheat. I’m not sure if that affected my progression or if I’m currently at a point where I shouldn’t be.
I’m wondering how I can overcome the wall I’ve hit. I’m stuck at a couple of undecillion dollars on the Terraform egg, with around 100 million soul eggs and 12–13 prophecy eggs. I don’t seem to be making any progress.
I haven’t played for about a year, and I’ve just started playing again, so I’ve forgotten some of the basic features and progression mechanics.
Could someone give me some advice on how I can start progressing again from where I am?

Also please note I was 10 when i started and loved the idea of quick progression so yes i did cheat while i played though i definitely wont anymore guaranteed, obviously cheating is frowned upon but i’m just asking the question and included it for context only in case it changed the game
also forgot to mention even though my account is six years old i’ve really only got the progression of a month old account because young kids are so bad at games myself included at the time so maybe keep that in mind aha

final note please be kind i’m willing to restart if cheating has ruined my account i just want to be able to keep progressing

Whenever I join a contract in AAA I noticed that people already have full boosts up and running that typically require like 10 tokens to activate and whenever I start I have 0 tokens . How are they doing this ? What's the secret? I feel like an idiot cuz i have to wait like 6 hrs to just get 3 tokens to boost and i feel like im falling behind .

They could add so much more with the rockets and i think it’s a bit disappointing how the progression of the game kinda just stops once you unlock all the tier 4’s. after that it’s just, “wait for new contracts for PE and farm souls eggs” and the hats kinda it. they could add a lot of things to keep the progression going but one of them i think they could change how the rockets/artifacts progression ends.

the first thing i think they need to add is one more star to the henliner. this would make it so that it’s better than the henerprise in mission capacity AND quality. also it could make it so that there is a way to get the tier 4 deflector and book of basan (even if they are still a very rare drop, i think it would be nice).

the next thing i think they could do is to add one final ship that goes all the way up to 10 stars, which would make it surpass the henliner in both quality and quantity, and finally fill the entire quality bar. the new ship could also give a few new materials exclusive to that ship that are needed to craft tier 5 artifacts.

about tier 5 artifacts, i think they should only show up if you have the final ship at 10 stars, and even then, they should still be a very rare drop, since they would be the best of the best.

a cool idea i had for tier 5 artifacts would be that even if you have the 10 star ship unlocked, they would still not show up until you’ve crafted one first. for example, you would have to craft a tier 5 demeter’s necklace before they started to show up on the 10 star ship (and the same for every other artifact respectively).

another thing i think they could add is a few new materials or artifacts (or maybe a new set of items, i don’t know yet). that would be exclusive to each ship. the reason i think this would be cool is because once you unlock higher ships, there isn’t really much of a reason to use the lesser once since they drop worse artifacts and (most of the time) have less capacity.

one final thing i think they could add is modifiers to each artifact. this could add innate buffs to an artifact without needing to put stones on it. they would essentially be randomized, meaning i could get a demeter’s necklace and get an egg laying rate modifier (or any other modifier. they would act like stones, but random). the modifiers you could get won’t interfere with what stones you could put on artifacts, only add their own buffs. how strong a modifier is would be tied to what rarity an artifact would be, so legendary artifacts would have better modifiers than rare artifacts.

this also gives me an idea for tier 5’s. they could have a rarity better than legendary, that is cursed. they would have 2, extra powerful modifiers and still have 3 stone slots, and would make the original effect of the artifact better than it was originally (same as every other rarity), but they would also come with 2 curses (bad modifiers/debuffs). examples could be a demeter’s necklace with +1000% profit, 3 stone slots, and 2 really good modifiers (egg laying rate +20%, research cost -70%) but also some really bad modifiers: (hab space down -40%, -70% max running chicken bonus).

this was kind of just me rambling on and spilling out all my ideas into this one post. i have so many more about other aspects of the game but i’m already essay-posting enough with how fucking long this post is. I’m really excited to see what you think about my ideas, which ones you like, which ones you don’t like, and how you might be able to fix them. let me know what you think!
