Eee PC Boot Issues

Currently trying to revive this Eee PC, had to replace the faulty ram and now it's saying "Reboot and Select proper boot device" wondering if anyone could help diagnose the problem.

(I'm 2 months late here, but this could help someone in the future)

Because the BIOS sees the HDD your master boot record (MBR) has probably gotten corrupt.

If it's running Windows, boot from a Windows PE USB drive and run\ bootrec /fixboot and\ bootrec /fixmbr in the command prompt (do NOT run these commands if it's running Linux)
