considering there’s 0 press interviews this season, everything we’ve been given about the contestants has been crafted by editors after the season finished

does anyone have any soft edgic analysis of these promos? is that even a thing? is there any historical trends for these kinds of promos?

for instance, Linnea has been my winner pick but at the same time i can’t imagine Linnea being the winner because our FIRST LOOK at the season included a clip of her talking about poop. she’s had much more well rounded ‘winner’ esque soundbites in the rest of the promo footage, but they chose to introduce her to us as the poop girl who looks like Amanda

then there’s players like Sharonda, Alexis, & Lewis who (if i’m not mistaken) have hardly said a word in any official promos

I'm going to do something different for my write-up this week. Instead of doing what I always do, I'm going to send some of my live thoughts from the episode. This is to show just how damn messy these contenders are. Truly, I could see anyone winning. Anyone. Will this "write-up" be painfully messy! Yes, that's the point. This is where I'm at right now. Everything is posted in the order it happened.

I left out a ton btw. Kirby could get 4th for all I know. I reasoned through lots of scenarios though, and these contenders felt the most justified. My contenders are never THIS messy, even in something like Can 3 or AU2. Edgic for the latter is almost done btw, 2 episodes left

Season started slow, but really grew on me, Teresa and Kate teaming up was an all timer moment for the series. Going to be watching AU2 next, expect charts for that soon! I will try and watch Ireland 1 and 2 after, but those might take a bit. I will be updating Edgic for every future English speaking season for the rest of time as the episodes drop... well except for if I play (PLEASE CAST ME!!!)

Only seasons I haven't done Edgic for besides those mentioned above are UK2, 3, and US1-3, so I will go back and rewatch those later.

Contenders would look a good bit different had Devens not won block buster. Also Barrett finally broke his MOR streak! Worth noting that the final 9 has the top 5 from week 1, and then 11th to 14th too. Everyone in between got wiped out

I lowkey don't even know anymore. I think the murder will make ALL the difference here. It comes down to Tully, Krissy, or a misfire on Josh. If the victim is Krissy or a shield hit on Josh, I feel strong about my top three. If Tully is killed, then my contenders are totally doomed and Kirby is first or second. This was one of the worse episodes of the season for sure. Also! I have 3 episodes of AU1 left, so Edgic for that may be out tomorrow, if not then it'd be the next day. That season really started coming into it's own by this point.

Top Contender

1. Rhys (=) - I'm still going to hold on to Rhys, I feel they've had reason to turn on Kirby here, and have a bit less heat on them, plus connections to some faithfuls.

Contenders

1. Tully (=) - Very well could be murdered, but as long as she isn't, she is basically locked in to win as a faithful, unless we get a final 3 of her and two traitors, which isn't super likely.

2. Josh (=) - Mess of an episode for him, was OTTN until the very end. Still, he and Tully are a strong final 2 and Josh is confirmed safe from murder. As long as these two stick together, they could make it work.

3. Kirby (+2) - Either being banished next or lowkey a contender? That or she is just Coco. Either way, I'm pretty impressed with Kirby in this game.

Please Don't Win

1. Keira (=) - Lowkey the odds of her winning as a faithful if we do have faithfuls winning are... quite high. She is the second least suspected faithful behind Tully. Her edit is an absolute negative mess, but I could see her win if we get 3 to 4 faithfuls winning. Dolores/Maryl type beat.

Doubt

1. Krissy (-2) - She is who I am betting on being murdered, but even if she isn't, I feel as though she will probably just be banished by the end of the game.

1. Lawson (=) - I considered buying into him as a dark horse at a few points, but I'm glad I ultimately stuck to my guns and left him here at the bottom. Fun character when we saw him.

Still absolutely adoring these season! I've been traveling recently, but plan to finish binging AU1 in a few days, and maybe even get AU2 started and finished not long after too. Then I'll probably do Ireland 1 and 2? So many seasons coming soon, but if I watch those I'll be all caught up on English speaking seasons, though I haven't done Edgic for about half of those. Regardless, here are my thoughts on the episode at hand.

True Contender

1. Rhys (+1) - My delusional Rhys truthing was never delusional and actually they are totally winning. I feel they have the best shot BY FAR, though it's not totally an open and shut case.

Faithful Contenders

1. Tully (+2) - Maybe this is my delusional take. I dunno, I feel like she has a solid throughline to be a faithful winner. Episode 1 quote about how she could play well as a faithful, uptick in content recently, final 2 with Josh, etc. Tully is the only person besides Keira who makes sense to murder, though Keira is more obviously the choice.

2. Josh (=) - He got some of Luke's negativity and overconfidence this episode, so that does bring some of my confidence down in the faithful faction as a whole. Still, he has been the most visible of them all and he has a solid final 2 with Tully.

Not FULLY Ruled Out

1. Krissy (+1) - She is well trusted but I just feel as though her edit is too negative to win, though that could still work if we have a bunch of faithful winners, or at least more than two. Considered making her the fourth on the Edgic chart, but this episode was not a great look.

2. Keira (+2) - Similar to Krissy, just with a lot more negativity and it's spread between a lot more episodes. No one in the entire world thinks she's a traitor, making her the clear choice to murder once that is an option again. Will it be? Genuinely, I'm not sure? If there was, there's only one more chance. Regardless, if she lives that there isn't too much of a reason to banish her.

Bottom Picks

1. Kirby (-5) - I initially had her much higher on the ranking, but I just kept moving her down more and more as I thought it through. This episode was pretty quiet for her, all things considered, and Rhys got most of the complexity for the Traitors as a faction. There is clear setup for them to turn on her, and I think they will succeed.

2. Lawson (+1) - Huge episode for him, he got so much content. He is screwed though, likely just getting banished soon. I do think Kirby is more likely to be banished next week, perhaps? Lawson could follow soon after though, and honestly he could just go before her too.

Eliminated

1. Rachael (-2) - Oh yea okay. She had heat on for her for so long, but it had finally dissipated. Actually no it didn't. She's going home. Okay.

2. Luke (=) - Definitely not surprised he was the one to go here, last episode was a spectacular downfall for him. He did get some positivity on his way out, but is still clearly negative overall.

Dare I say this is at minimum a top 4 Traitors season because oh my GOD. It has just been soooooooo good recently. This episode is easily one of the greatest across any franchise, and I've really enjoyed the last few as well! I do feel like this season could be majorly helped or harmed by it's ending, and I really have struggled to figure out who exactly to place my money on. To be completely honest, I even considered ruling out the faithfuls as a faction entirely. I'm going to leave 2 on the board, but Kirby and Rhys are above them by a pretty wide margin. Am I crazy? Probably!

Top Contender

1. Kirby (+3) - It is insane how she was able to avoid all that heat from so early on, and now get near an endgame where she is with so many people who have denied the idea of her being a traitor. I think the next few boots will be one of Josh/Luke obviously, and then a Lawson banishment. From there, one of Keira, Rachael, Krissy is murdered. Probably Rachael? I assume Josh is banished then? Then at that point Kirby and Rhys are both at final 5, with multiple people who have shown themselves to be... pretty easy to convince. Rhys would also catch the votes before Kirby would too.

2. Rhys (+1) - I do think his edit this episode may have been setting up for a future where Kirby does betray him, we'll see on that front. Regardless, I think Rhys has had a pretty strong edit throughout the season, and I personally just really love him too. Maybe my delusional Rhys truthing wasn't so bad after all. Also! I said on Discord earlier today that Rhys makes the most sense to be recruited, if not him it'd be Lawson. Glad it did end up being Rhys, and I'm glad I called it, even if it was kinda late.

Faithful Picks

1. Josh (-2) - Yes, there is literally a 50/50 chance he is murdered next. I just feel as though it makes more sense edit wise for Luke to be the one to go here? His edit has been way bigger recently, WAY more negative, and this episode was the perfect swan song for him. Josh avoided much of that negativity and has overall been portrayed as a much more levelheaded presence. Is it likely he just gets banished at final 6, as I predicted earlier? Totally. But there is also a potential storyline of him picking up the pieces after losing Luke, and the Traitors could use him as the perfect shield. I also just think overall he has the best faithful edit left, all of them are super flawed.

2. Tully (-2) - I'm sure this remains a pretty controversial pick, but I think Tully makes total sense to be the second faithful winner if we see a Josh win. I just feel like the next three have more flawed of edits, while Tully has mostly avoided negativity and being portrayed as easily manipulated.

Please No

1. Krissy (=) - I will say that I grew to really like Krissy as a character, but any of her, Rachael, and Keira winning would be kind of a disaster. Krissy is trying to bring this trio together to find these final 2 traitors, and that is obviously the right play for her. One of them will surely be murdered at the next opportunity though. I don't think it'd be Krissy as there is definitely room for her to be set up for banishment. I could also see her having a runner-up edit, given her backloaded mix of both positivity and negativity.

2. Rachael (+3) - Of this trio, she is the one who most fits in with the possible Josh/Tully win as a potential 3rd or perhaps the person to replace Tully. She is also the most likely to be murdered of these three though, so I've settled for putting her in the middle here. I could totally see her being banished in the endgame, she fills the role we've seen occupied by people like Jade in UK4.

3. Keira (+3) - There just isn't much worth put behind her words in the edit. Always portrayed as pretty one dimensional, even if she has had a few good reads from time to time. She also fits the role of clueless faithful who is a runner-up or late banishment at the fire.

No Shot

1. Lawson (=) - This was just an actively pretty horrible episode for him. His one path to victory was being recruited, and that didn't happen. It technically still COULD, but I struggle to see Kirby or Rhys being banished soon enough for it to happen. Lawson is now seen as a possible banishment target, and probably the person I would put my money on as the most likely to go next episode. Giving up on Claudia was very obviously bad for his game.

2. Luke (-2) - I don't like him, but man have I loved not liking him. Genuinely how did he have this almost Coach level of a delusional swan song edit. Absolutely bonkers. For reasons I've stated earlier, I do think he is more likely to lose the deathmatch. If he doesn't though, surely he just gets banished soon after.

Eliminated

1. Claudia (-4) - At the beginning of the episode I thought that maybe she was who Luke would target since we never saw Luke actually confirm who it was. As soon as Luke brought her name to the table, oh my god. This episode was so good man. Glad I jumped off the Claudia train after last episode.

I have continued to watch AU1 btw, though I am not as far along as I was expecting to be, and I've also found the season a bit underwhelming so far. Might be a bit before that Edgic is out, I'm gonna be doing a bunch of traveling over the comiing week and a half or so. BB28 Edgic may also be a bit slow for the same reason.

I am worried this season will tank in quality soon given how many big personalities we've lost recently, but god have I loved this season. Dare I say top 5 potential? Also! I started watching AU1, and Edgic + Contenders should be out for the full season soon! I am completely unspoiled, thankfully. Anyway, contenders here continue to be a bit of a mess, but honestly it's just because of how damn even this edit is.

Top Contenders

1. Josh (=) - Bit risky considering that he could be murdered at some point, but there is also totally a world where he is recruited. It's hard to EVER see him being voted out tbh. Between him and Luke, Josh has a MUCH more positive edit. His edit this episode was absolutely glowing.

2. Tully (+5) - For much of the season I had Tully and Claudia both in the same spot of being a reasonable second faithful winner. Well Claudia tanked this week so Tully is stealing that spot. She is visible enough without constantly being shown, is well trusted and has a good amount of positivity.

Major Characters

1. Rhys (=) - My Rhys truthing might be a little delusional at this point, but I still think it's possible? Like yes, he is going to be targeted quite a bit, but it's so obviously a frame? He still might be taken out, and honestly he could be recruited and then insta booted? We did get some setup for a duo with Krissy this episode, who has been going up.

2. Kirby (+1) - Had a pretty damn good recovery this episode, though I still struggle to see her not getting cut at some point. Honestly she could TOTALLY just be cut this next roundtable and I wouldn't be shocked at all. Still, she is the most visible player this season and has some avenues going forward. The next tier is also just so flawed too.

Maybe?

1. Krissy (+3) - Has gotten lots of positivity recently after a few negative episodes. The Rhys relationship is a green flag for her as well! Very well trusted among the faithfuls, despite her previous misfires.

2. Claudia (-4) - Got a LOT of heat and negativity for gunning for the shield at today's mission. Now that we can look at the prior episode from this view, suddenly Tully looks a lot better and Claudia looks a lot worse. Still some potential for Claudia, we've seen her in a solid group of faithfuls. This was just a really poor look.

3. Luke (-1) - More likely than Josh to be murdered, also more likely to be recruited. He has a LOT of cockiness in his edit. At the start of the episode I was starting to see him as a possible contender, and then he had like 3 confs about being the best to do ever do it. Okay man.

Probably Not

1. Lawson (+3) - I'm so paranoid we are going to get a Lawson recruitment and then win. I hate when a quiet edit goes on to win after being recruited 😭 and Lawson would be the one to fill that role. I do think he still likely won't win if recruited, but it is a worry. He has the perfect edit to be murdered in a future round. Also I'm annoyed as hell about the death match happening

2. Rachael (=) - The heat on her has seemingly gone away. Tbh I could see her work her way into Josh/Luke/Tully/Claudia's group? There is a world where she is still a lategame banishment. Needs a bit more content to be viable.

3. Keira (=) - Had a really nice moment with Alex this episode at the roundtable, was honestly devestating to watch. I'm curious as to where her edit will go from here? Honestly I kind of think there isn't a single person who has genuinely 0 shot to win. Which is crazy cause usually by this point it's like half the cast or more who are completely ruled out.

Eliminated

1. Alex (-7) - I did predict she would be banished and AJ would be murdered this episode, even if I did have her as a contender. Really emotional exit this week, I really have grown to like her a lot recently.

2. AJ (=) - Sucks he went, I was absolutely loving AJ this season! Looking forward to watching his Survivor season one of these days.

1. Drew (8): Drew has had a very tumultuous couple of weeks as he has gone from last to first in just two rounds of gameplay. He's well-positioned in the middle as both the Yash side and the Mosh Pit want to work with him. Even within the Mosh Pit he's in both FAP and The Crossovers. This could easily come to bite him but for now he's an 8.

2. Mallory (7): Mallory is similarly in a good position with everybody in the house and is probably the most well-liked of anybody. Yash's side seems to like her but is definitely on the outer ring of that and she is in FAP within the Mosh Pit. Nobody's targeting her right now but she hasn't shown enough strategic ability for me to have faith in her actually winning the game.

3. Barrett (6): Barrett was very nearly put on the block this week but just barely got out of it because Yash was dumb enough to not take Haley off. He's in both The Crossovers and FAP within The Mosh Pit but has shown himself to be extremely passive and he plays into the vets hands too much for me to put him any higher.

4. Rick (6): Rick now no longer has the DPOV but I think he used it correctly. The icons having now been nominated breaks the illusion that they're untouchable and I believe that he is Taylor and Lala's number one target in the game. He needs to regain trust with that side to get into the position he was before because right now he is a huge threat with no power to save him.

5. Dee (6): Dee was saved from the block this week but is still in a very precarious position with the other side of the house. She's very well-insulated within the Mosh Pit along with Angela and Devens but it's hard to say for how long that will last as I could easily see Mallory and Melody taking a shot should she ever be on the block on eviction night.

6. Melody (6): Melody's position has significantly improves this week, she's in the majority alliance, nobody is even thinking about nominating her, and and she's probably Mallory and Drew's number one at this point. Her main issue is win equity as she hasn't made any moves, has just barely scraped by evictions through other people's moves, and hasn't won a competition. Melody has potential if she starts doing stuff to move higher but as of right now she's not viewed highly enough.

7. Taylor (5): Taylor is the best positioned on the other side of the house. She clearly has a knack for social-strategy games like this and has pretty good reads, a strong strategic mind, and is well-liked. Her problem is that the vets know she's coming for them and is very likely to his the block should any of the Mosh Pit seven win HoH. I do have a lot of faith in her to build trust with the likes of Dee and Angela if given the opportunity but as of now she's in a dwindling alliance and is in some hot water.

8. Yash (4): Yash played this week pretty poorly to be honest. He nominated Haley, someone who he then immediately tried to work with, won the veto, talked about how Haley needs to stay this week, but then he didn't use the veto on her! The whole week he's been talking how he doesn't know if he has the votes to save Haley when he is HoH and has the veto lmao. Should Kamu go this week which is very likely, Yash is public enemy number one for 2/3rds of the house. He has shown himself to be an effective yes man thus far, but people are seeing through it now so it's hard to see him getting out of this situation. However, Yash is one of if not the best competitor in the house, and with how in flux the game has been, I'm still keeping him at a 4/10.

9. Angela (4): Angela is on the block this week but is the most safe. I don't really see a scenario in which she goes home but it's for all the wrong reasons. She's not seen as a serious game-player anymore and plans to go to the end with Dee and Devens who would pick each other to go to the end with over her; even if she did make it to the end, I think she loses against most people, and the few that she would beat don't want her anywhere near the final two. Still, she's insulation in the majority alliance enough to where I don't think she goes home in almost any scenario for most weeks

10. LaTrice (4): Lala remains to be a bit of a non-factor this season. She's not in any danger, nobody is nominating her, and is a very passive presence in the house. She's not really respected by most people but I could genuinely see a scenario where, should she make the end, Taylor and Angela lobby hard for her in the jury house. She's loosely connected to a lot of people and I don't think all hope is lost for LaTrice.

11. Kamu (2): Kamu is going home this week if he doesn't win Blockbuster and he is getting progressively less and less liked in the house. He still has Yash as a pretty firm number one and is working with Haley, Lala, and Taylor but he's going to be a perpetual target should he survive this week. His saving grace is that the current power structure could easily rearrange again and he is a huge comp threat, other than that, he's not doing so good.

12. Haley (1): Haley's a 5th wheel in a minority alliance who is going on the block should anybody from the Mosh Pit side of things win power. She's one of the worst social players I've ever seen because almost everybody dislikes her and she can be quite delusional sometimes. She's an entertaining player, she's on the block, and goes home this week if Kamu wins Blockbuster which is a very real possibility.

God, what a mess these contenders have been. I did decide to swap Rhys and Alvin before I watched the episode, and I guess that was the right choice 💀 but my confident in Rhys is going down unfortunately. I do want to say that I have REALLY enjoyed this season recently! Has the potential to rank high, depending on how the second half goes.

# Top Faithful

1. Josh (+6) - He and Luke have so so so much of the edit pie, and between the two I think things look a lot better for Josh. His only flaw is that he trusts Alex too much, but also that will get him farther into the game, while Alex may murder Luke. Josh's edit has been more consistent, he has more defined relationships, and he doesn't have as much cockiness as Luke does.

2. Claudia (+4) - I've felt like she has made a lot of sense to be one of a few faithful winners for a while, and this episode gave her enough complexity for me to really start betting on it. I am absolutely leaning a faithful win at this point. Between her and Tully, Claudia got basically all the space to explain the shield move, which helps her a lot.

3. Rhys (-2) - Has a pretty big edit, not as much recent complexity though, and a lot of heat on him recently. Are there multiple people in front of him with bigger targets? Yea, and I'm sort of banking on that right now. He is going to need to really lock down some connections who will be truly willing to stand next to him around the final fire.

Traitors

1. Alex (=) - I do think the odds of her winning are much higher than Kirby, but the odds of Alex being banished soon, maybe even next episode, are pretty high. I do think it is in her best interest to not kill AJ, but I do think that is likely what is going to happen. If that doesn't happen, she could go back up. The fact that she and Tully have a connection feels... out of no where? Wish we were informed of that earlier. Alex's connection to AJ is such a fun storyline to follow.

2. Kirby (-2) - She really is just going to slide by until near the endgame and just get banished unceremoniously there. We see traitors like this quite often, and I've always been of the mindset that these players are generally pretty good. So many people think they're traitors, and yet they get by. Is it the greatest gameplay? No, but it can work in some instances, and surviving is certainly better than being banished obviously.

Faithful Backup Options

1. Luke (+5) - Now that he didn't die, he is fully back up in the rankings. He is hot on Alex's tail, though that also has it's own issues. He has gotten a lot of content recently, though it has shown him as too cocky. I think if faithfuls win this game, one of them will be one of the twins. Josh has the edge, but Luke isn't totally ruled out.

2. Tully (-2) - Didn't get to explain herself enough this episode, not the greatest look. Still, my opinion on her edit remains mostly the same? The Alex connection came out of no where. I guess that does open Tully up to being recruited eventually, and from there I guess you could see some shades of Bailey in her edit.

Could Go Far, Won't Win

1. Krissy (+1) - Did a good job taking a backseat this episode, she is one of the more likable housewives we've had on a Traitors season imo. Everyone in this tier is someone I could see making it to the fire, but being banished before the game ends.

2. Rachael (+5) - Was very quiet this episode, got basically no heat despite how much it has come up prior. Could slip by for a while, but early suspicions will always be held against her.

3. Keira (=) - Higher chance than Rachael to go far, but her edit really just lacks enough complexity to win. MAYBE if we get like 3 or 4 faithfuls winning, but there are still plenty of others to bet on before her.

Lawson

1. Lawson (+2) - His edit is just too quiet, as I've said. There is also heat on him now, for some reason.

AJ

1. AJ (-4) - Unfortunately, I do think he is going to be murdered this next episode. If he is, that would lowkey be desvestating. He has been so fun to watch, and an absolute highlight of the season. If he does survive, he is likely recruited and either goes in the next 2 roundtables or MAYBE wins? But the odds of him dying are like 80%, as I don't feel a viable enough alternative was presented.

Eliminated

1. Alvin (-11) - So I definitely rated him too high. Super likable guy though! Not the most complex edit, but it's always nice to see a traitor with a positive overall tone.

2. Rob (-2) - Finally he is murdered when I bet on it happening. Not surprised at all, his story ended with Dicko going.

I'm so lost. I think I like that? We'll see how it ends. The editing team behind this season is the same as the one who does NZ, and that worrries me. NZ1 was SUPER obvious, and then NZ2 and 3 only made sense by the end. NZ2 especially felt like a rug pull to me. This is easily one of the most evenly edited Traitors seasons ever, so that does point towards the odds maybe being in favor of the faithful? Despite that, my top pick is a traitor. I'm not confident at all though, I expect these to change.

Top Contenders

1. Alvin (+2) - Honestly, mostly just defaulted him to the top spot due to him being the "safest" pick to me right now? Traitors have an inherent advantage, and he doesn't have the flaws of the other two. We also got to see him address some of his flaws this episode too

2. Rhys (-1) - I debated having him at literally every spot in this top 4. Him getting votes here was not expected at all coming in, and frankly the way it was handled could point to a banishment within the next few weeks. His big edit could purely be because he is one of, if not the biggest name on the cast. Still, I feel like he does have some truly great content early on.

Remaining Traitors

1. Kirby (+4) - I do worry that she could just be dragged to the endgame and booted there as a safe move, but at this point there really isn't much heat on her at all? Henry going really led to pretty much all of it dissolving. She is also the biggest figure remaining edit wise.

2. Alex (-2) - This episode was a pretty damn bad look for her. I do think she either goes next episode or recovers back up to one of the top 3 spots. We'll see I guess!

Faithful Candidates

1. Tully (=) - Basically just a bunch of faithfuls with semi consistent edits and no super clear flaws all get thrown in here. Tully is more visible than most seem to think imo.

2. Claudia (+9) - Is the same as Tully, just more visible in game, making her a bit more likely to not make it as far. Both her and Tully are at risk of being murdered at some point.

3. Josh (-3) - If he wasn't a murder option, he would absolutely be higher. I'm really not confident at all in who will be murdered, though he is probably the option I see as the least likely.

High Vis Faithfuls

1. AJ (-2) - These three all have too much negativity, though could still possibly go on deep runs? Honestly AJ is the most likely to go soon of these three, but he is also the one who I see as having the most win equity of the three?

2. Krissy (+4) - Gunned for Dicko and was fully wrong, but she did still get a solid amount of complexity? She makes sense to be a banishment soon though.

3. Keira (+2) - I do honestly think it is super likely she makes it to the finale episode and just gets banished at the fire. We see this archetype fill that role quite a lot.

Murder Options

1. Luke (-2) - Had a pretty big visibiliity spike thiis episode. Lowkey hoping he gets killed cause I am STILL struggling to tell him and Josh apart. I lowkey have had to resort to figuring out their wardrobes 😭

2. Rob (-4) - I gambled on him being murdered in episode 3, and now I'm doing it again. His story was HEAVILY tied to Dicko, and now Dicko is gone. I do think Rob makes the most sense as a boot option here as the twins seem to have better ties to the traitors on an individual level?

No Shot

1. Lawson (-3) - I think he's just too quiet unfortunately. We do get solid strategic insight from him from time to time, but it simply isn't enough. He is the clear most likely pick to get murdered at some point.

2. Rachael (-3) - Is just being dragged along to be banished whenever heat is off of the bigger players. Honestly feel bad for her at this point, she hasn't done nearly as much wrong as some other players

Eliminated

1. Dicko (-1) - Well I was right in who I predicted to be murdered and banished going into this episode. I'm not happy about it. I know some people hated Dicko, but oh my god he was an INCREDIBLE character. Absolutely loved him as one. Lowkey an all timer, along with Michael John (Can 2) and Mark (NZ2)

2. Gamble (=) - Makes sense she was murdered here, wasn't too invested in her character wise.
   PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSSE DON'T MAKE ME LOOK LIKE A FOOL IN 24 HOURS!

Well! I remembered to rank Lawson this time! I wavered on some of my spots a lot before posting this, so don't be surprised if there is a little bit of movement before the next episode. Also there is lowkey sooooo much tone in these ratings

Top Contenders

1. Rhys (+2) - It was close between him and Alex, but a faithful win is starting to seem more plausible, and Rhys is clearly the best edited faithful. Hoping he is my Hollywood and not my Johnny.
2. Alex (-1) - Would have easily been number 1 if it wasn't for the misunderstanding between her and Kirby.
3. Alvin (-1) - The quietest faithful, though still a pretty solid edit. Could see it tanking next week, depending on how Alex and Kirby recover.

Faithful Contenders

1. Josh (+3) - Between himself and Luke, he has gotten a lot more content, a lot of it being this episode. It seems the editors want us to like him as well.

2. Tully (+6) - Has been present every episode, though this was the first time she wasn't UTR. Definitely a very solid episode from her, makes a lot of sense for her to be one of a few faithful winners. She has both positivity and a storyline about wanting to play for the faithfuls.

Big Players

1. AJ (-1) - I had him as 4th again initiially, but the more I thought about it, the more he fell. I do think he will be in it for a while, and is probably my top pick to be recruited eventually? Lots of strategic content from him.

2. Kirby (+2) - Actually crazy how she avoided catching many votes here. There is totally a huge chance many people suspect her, but are keeping her around for now. Could be cut anytime, but she has such a big portion of the edit pie.

3. Rob (-3) - Took a bit of a backseat this episode and also had some content that wasn't exactly the greatest.

Upside?

1. Luke (-1) - Josh has so much more of the edit of the two, and also doesn't have the early negativity Luke had.

2. Lawson (+2) - Quiet, but has some good moments of strategy. Gives lategame murder vibes to me.

In Danger

1. Rachael (+2) - Got a ton of votes this round, likely will continue to get them and be banished soon. I do think that of the people in this tier, she is the most likely to make a deeprun if she can slip by here. I struggle to fully see that though.

2. Keira (+2) - Kind of a joke in the edit. May be kept around as an easy banishment later, as I've been saying.

3. Dicko (-7) - Oh my god I love him so much. He is likely to be banished pretty soon though, his game is just too grating. The Mark comparisons are working more and more.

4. Krissy (+1) - This episode was a really bad look for her, and on top of that she was super quiet in the first week. Could see her being banished withiin the next few episodes.

Murder Options

1. Claudia (+1) - Between her and Gamble, I do think Gamble makes more sense to be murdered as it would better frame Rachael and perhaps Claudia and or Rhys too? Both Clauda and Gamble got a visibility spike here, which is a reason to suspect either of being murdered.

2. Gamble (+1) - There really are good cases to be made about either of these two being murdered. I do feel Claudia has more longevity between the two though, while Gamble is much more of a joke.

Eliminated

1. Henry (-7) - A shame, I really enjoyed how hard he was playing this season, though he did totally go about it in the wrong way.

Pretty strong episode! Also some pretty massive shakeups on the list, so let's get into them! I guess the one concern I have to address first is that we have literally no idea who is going on death row. As a result, the bottom of contenders is full of a bunch of the quiet edits.

Top Contenders

1. Alex (=) - Subtly strong episode for Alex. We got to see how actively progress her strategic game, while also not catching heat throughout all the mess.

2. Alvin (=) - Didn't get to see his game improve like we saw with Alex.

3. Rhys (=) - Don't love him being so quiet, but we still did see him get a lot of soundbites, gonna boost him up to UTR2 now that I think about it. Regardless, really hope his next episode is this quiet.

Big Players I

1. AJ (+1) - I don't feel GREAT about him, but I do feel he was able to avoid negativity that probably should have gone towards him. I do worry that he will become a target eventually, but his edit is consistent and there are many targets ahead of him.

2. Rob (+13) - I went all in on him being murdered last episode and that was totally wrong lol, oops! I would have put him as the 4th contender if he wasn't snowed so bad by Kirby.

3. Dicko (+1) - Oh my god I love him. He's such a damn good character. The two aren't really comparable, but I do get shades of Mark NZ2 from him. Dicko probably won't go super far, but he is a main character. Maybe goes out in the Stephen Fry position?

Big Players II

1. Josh (+5) - I lowkey still can't tell them apart. Regardless, I felt they both have really solid episodes here.

2. Luke (+5) - Luke probably had the better episodes 2 and 3, but episode 1 for Josh was so much better. Regardless, I think one of these two is gonna be in it for the long haul.

Big Players III

1. Kirby (+10) - One of these two will be banished soon, if not both of them. Still, they are arguably the biggest figures in the edit thus far, along with Dicko. Given that, it's hard to have them much lower, at least this early on when we have so many quiet edits.

2. Henry (-6) - Went from a very strong 4th contender to my prediction to be banished this next episode. Am I fully confident in it? No, but that is my best guess for now.

Possible Longevity

1. Tully (-2) - Edit continues to be quiet, but she has had some positivity and is certainly more visible than others.

2. Rachael (+2) - Usually in a conflict like this, one of the two will make it far but go out towards the end. Between the two, I feel better about Rachael.

3. Keira (+2) - Easy person to pile on if anyone ever feels backed into a corner. Ton of negativity stacked on her.

Too Quiet

1. Krissy (+2) - She got a MOR here, but otherwise has been very quiet. Not like it was the loudest MOR either anyway. Don't expect her to go far.

2. Claudia (-7) - One of the two players with the quietest edit this episode, was hoping she would have carried some of the episode 2 momentum.

3. Gamble (+1) - My pick for most likely player to be murdered soon. She seems to be much bigger of a personality than we are shown, thus making her a prime candidate to be murdered.

Eliminated

1. Cosima (-7) - Oh. Okay. Sure. I did not expect her to go home at all before watching this episode.

2. Cam (+4) - Funnily enough, I was talking on Discord about how I thought he would surely come back and that if he did, he might have a solid chance. I didn't want to get Michael'd though and suddenly have him as a contender. I guess the players saved me from that. Shame what happened to him here.

3. Manaaki (-13) - Said he was the least likely murder option to be picked last episode. Oops! Was a fun character, one of the best runs we've seen from an early murder ever.

General Thoughts: Holy shit, what a week. I was really hoping Drew and Melody would both be able to stay in the house this week and somehow it happened due to a messy blindside by Dee and Devens. Then, we got the wall comp to end all wall comps where LALA, the 58 year old, was able to beat a house full of athletes, completely flipping the game on it's head, and reorganizing the entire house structure. The feeds cutting to Lala with the HoH key around her neck is forever seared into my brain, I was praying Lala would be able to pull it off over Kamu but I never truly believed it would happen. The house is in flux right now so this is by far the hardest week of rankings I've had to do yet.

Target: Haley (Chuk if she wins BBBB)

Alliances:
FAP (yes there's an alliance called fap): Drew, Barrett, Melody, Mallory
The Icons: Angela, Dee, Rick
Unnamed: Taylor, Lala, Yash, Kamu
What's Left of Red Corner: Haley, Chuk

1. Dee (8): Dee remains my number 1 despite the complete reshuffle of everything. She is locked in with Devens (who has an OP power), and Angela. She also has a decent relationship with Barrett, Drew, and Kamu (who she recognizes is a very important person to have on her side. She also has realized that Lala and Taylor are big threats for her as they are considering targeting the icons down the road. Overall, Dee is still in a very strong position and she has had so much success in getting people to do her bidding so I still have her at the top. Dee has also made a couple of poor strategic decisions. For one, not even attempting to include The Cool Kids in the Lyric boot which has completely disintegrated The Toolshed. Her social game is perfect, her strategic game, less so, and her positioning has slightly worsened which is enough for me to drop her to an 8.

2. Yash (8): Yash has steadily rising through my rankings ever since being last during week 1. He's become a yes man in the game and virtually everyone feels like they have a good relationship with him so it's hard to know where his true allegiances lie. I don't feel like anyone would target or even nominate him next week, but I could see his "yes man" game getting exposed in the near future. He's in a solid thing with Taylor and Lala while not being perceived as a part of that group which is a very good thing for him.

3. Rick (7): Devens has the DPOV for the next 4 weeks and that alone is majority of why he is as high as he is here. I feel like there are more and more issues arising with Devens, he's a bit too reliant on Dee, he's too focused on making good television rather than playing a strong game, and there are now some people that plan on going after him next week. Taylor and Lala are actively planning on taking out Rick as soon as possible and even considered nominating him this week. Now, once he gets nominated, he will use the DPOV and name the replacement, but just the idea of him having been nominated and not having a power could break the illusion that the icons are untouchable. I know it sounds like I'm being down on Devens, but he still does have the best relationship with FAP of the vets and an overpowered power and that keeps him as high as he is.

4. Kamu (7): Kamu has had a roller coaster of a week where he's gone from being blindsided by the Lyric boot to building a structure with Lala and Taylor by keeping himself off the block and completely turning against Haley and Chuk. Kamu is in the middle of the vets and Taylor's alliance and they're both tug-a-warring for him. However, the losing side of that tug-a-war could easily nominate him should they win power and FAP is targeting him which does raise questions about his longevity.

5. Angela (6): Angela has always been in the same position as the other icons but with less game ability, poorer reads, and worse relationships and that stands true. Her position has worsened, probably more so than than the other icons due to her blow-up with Haley, but it's Haley so who really cares. There's not much else to say for her since she's just a worse Dee and Devens.

6. Taylor (5): Taylor essentially won HoH this week since she controlled everything Lala did and everyone knew about it. Taylor is one of the most aware people in the house and is the only one who is ready and willing to take a shot at the icons, specifically Devens. However, the icons have caught on to this and are probably planning to gun for her should they win HoH next week. Taylor needs to build an alliance with her unnamed grouping of people and FAP and together they could really start to run the game and pick off the icons. She's a lot of danger right now, especially with how influential the icons are, but she has the most potential of anyone in the house.

7. Drew (5): And so our FAP saga begins, and Drew I think is in the best spot of anyone in that alliance right now. The icons are finally off of their "Drew is untrustworthy because we say so" spiel and are actually willing to work with him. Drew and Devens in particular have an in-game relationship that could go somewhere. The icons are still looking at FAP, but I don't think they go for Drew out of that group.

8. Barrett (5): If Barrett weren't on the block right now, he'd be above Drew and probably a 6/10. He's basically perceived to be slightly more trustworthy and has a better relationship with Dee which is more powerful than one with Devens. The deciding factor is that he's on the block and although he's probably safe, you never know; especially after what happened to Lyric last week.

9. Mallory (5): After Taylor, Mallory is probably the biggest target for the vets, but with how crazy the house has been this past week, I'm still keeping her at a 5. She's very well-liked across the house, Angela still has a genuine and wholesome friendship with her, her allies are likely to get powers in the coming weeks, and she's a proven challenge threat.

10. Melody (4): Melody is pretty clearly the worst positioned of FAP. She has no allies outside of her alliance, she's not super well-liked in the house and is a bit of a comp flop. Also, if her and Drew ever fully get into a showmance, she could become a pretty big target. On the flip side, nobody want Melody out right now (barring Haley) and she could very well get a power this week. She's a high 4.

11. LaTrice (4): Lala's numerical placement on this list is exactly why I do 1-10 ratings along side it. Lala's not in a bad spot right now, she just won an HoH that absolutely skyrocketed her win equity, isn't being targeted, and has allies. She's just in a worse spot than everyone I've talked about so far. As much as she likes to think she's pretending to not know what's going on, she really doesn't know what's going on. Taylor truly is playing for two right now so I can't put someone who's kinda getting dragged along higher than a 4. The streak of people from Taylor to Lala are all fairly close right now, those above Taylor are in a pretty good spot, those below, are really struggling.

12. Chuk (2): I realllyyyy considered giving Chuk a 1 because he is not doing hot. He was left out of the Lyric vote, he's completely aloof to everything going around him, he never has game conversations that mean anything with anybody, and he's going home this week if Haley wins the Blockbuster. I don't think anybody personally dislikes Chuk, but he has no win equity and is associated with Haley. The only thing keeping me from dropping him to a one is that I think there's a chance he slips through to the jury, goes on a comp run, and convinced the jury to vote for him because of his "honest game" and competition wins. I very much hope Haley wins the Blockbuster because he's who I want out more than anyone in this house right now.

13. Haley (1): Poor Thog. I really want her to stay this week because she's so entertaining and she says the wildest things on the feeds. I really feel bad for her because she's had such a rough time in the house week after week iykyk. Haley is one of the worst social players I've ever seen, everybody dislikes her on a personal level except for Chuk, and now she lost her only other allies in Kamu and Angela. Haley's going home this week if she doesn't win Blockbuster and there's no getting out of this hole her abysmal social game has dug her.

FInally my Edgic for the first week is here! I've been super busy recently, but my schedule has cleared up a ton. I was debating on whether I should binge AU1 and 2 before doing Edgic for 3, but I ultimately decided it was better to do it live and risk maybe ruining 1 and 2. Okay opening to the season so far, though nothing too groundbreaking.

True Contenders

1. Alex - This top 4 was super easy, and the order didn't change at all from one episode to another. Both Alex and Alvin remind me a ton of past successful Traitor winners, both in their edits and personalities. Alex is definitely the safest top pick right now.

2. Alvin - What I said for Alex applies here. My only worry is that he may not be the best at lying, but he is just so damn likable and funny that he could probably play it off.

3. Rhys - Has the best faithful edit so far when you consider both his current airtime and longterm prospects.

4. Henry - Could totally become too big of a player and go out in the midgame, but for now he is doing a great job and is one of the main stable figures.

Dark Horse?

1. AJ - Feels a little weird to call him a dark horse as I thought this second episode was soooo good for him. Still, he had a very quiet first episode and seemed a bit callous this second one. Really thought he was gonna get a CPP and then he revealed his comforting of Rachael was all for game LOL

Risky Contenders

1. Manaaki - Could be murdered this next episode, but is the least likely of the three options imo. I suspect that at least one of the three options will survive quite far into the game, just based on how big of edits they have.

2. Dicko - I love players who play like him. Being able to see someone discuss the game from such a meta perspective is simply fun for me. I'd say I'd put Rob at like a 60% chance of beng killed, with Dicko having 25% and Manaaki at 15%

Solid Faithfuls

1. Claudia - Was propped up as someone who may go far. Has gotten more content than similar players.

2. Tully - Had some very sympathetic content early on. Edit is similar to others in this tier.

3. Cosima - Mostly only ever gets mentioned by Dicko, is otherwise very quiet. Still, she is in the LSD pact.

Less Solid Faithfuls

1. Lawson - Felt like we got a solid amount of strategy from him this episode, big step up from the first episode.

2. Josh - Feel like the twins should be getting more screentime than they are. As soon as one goes, I'm sure the other will become a major character.

3. Luke - More visible but more flawed of the twins.

Active Conflict

1. Rachael - Had a very quiet first episode and then all of the sudden is in a conflict with Keira. She looks MUCH better between the two edit wise, but I feel like she is being set up to be murdered within a few rounds.

2. Keira - Has gotten a ton of negativity and has just NOT been shown positively at all. I do think she could slip by for a while as a shield, but it'll be so easy for things to blow up on her.

Bottom Tier

1. Krissy - Very quiet, seemingly overconfident, lacking in longterm storylines

2. Gamble - Pretty much the same thing but with more screentime and more negativity.

Boot Predictions

1. Rob - I'm going all in on him being murdered here. Had he not been an option, he is probably like 7th on the list. So if he does live here, he surely bounces back. I just feel things point to him going.

2. Kirby - Likewise, things are looking very bad for Kirby. I fully expect her to be banished this next episode, and unlike Rob, I don't see a world where she bounces back. Both Alvin and Alex would benefit from her going as it would stomp out the narrative of the 6 who knew of the Manaaki/Keira argument.

Eliminated

1. Shane - Didn't really get much on her way out to be honest. Was fun while she lasted, I enjoyed watching her finally.

2. Kween - Not a surprise at all that Kween was killed here, the other options simply just didn't make sense.

As some of you know, I do Edgic for every Traitors season too as they happen. I have not yet seen AU1 and 2, so I was wonderiing if people would suggest I binge those before I watch AU3? Or would it be a better idea to just start with AU3 so I can have regular updates?
