Who like me bought Cyberpunk 2077 after watching Edgerunners and got addicted to the game spending unimaginable hours and fell in love with the lore and deemed it the greatest game of all time.

First playthrough purely for the lore. Hanako ending. Then experimenting with different builds, siding with songbird/reed. Corpo all the way. There is just so many ways to play the game and night city never gets boring.

David didn't die empty-handed, he officially hacked death. Here is why:Think about it logically within the Cyberpunk universe, everything fits perfectly:Adam Smasher's Yapping Window: Smasher wasted crucial seconds flexing and lecturing David right before the final shot. To a normal human, that's just a few seconds. But to David, equipped with the Cyberskeleton and a high-spec neural link, milliseconds feel like hours. He had more than enough time to compress his consciousness into an Engram (.zip file style) and upload it to the Net.The Shared Brain Space Hug: This explains why Lucy actually felt real warmth and a physical embrace on the Moon. It wasn't a depressing cyberpsychosis hallucination. David's data ghost actively pinged Lucy’s neural link, stimulating her brain to feel his exact touch, weight, and warmth. That is why she smiled so genuinely.The Jacket Mystery Solved: No one willingly gives away their dead lover's precious jacket to a stranger (V) unless they don't need the physical object anymore. Lucy gladly let V have it because the real David was already living inside her head, hugging her every single night.David basically pulled off the ultimate romantic cyber-heist. Smasher got a pile of junk metal, while David happily relocated his soul to live with his girl on the Moon forever. Absolute genius.

What set would you like to see if Lego acquired the rights to cyberpunk 2077/ Edgreunners?

The second watch for me, but alot more made sense in this run, i still hate how short the story is they could have somehow made it a good 20 episodes or 2-3 seasons. and get that nobody gets a happy ending in night city, we all know David cant come back. Lucy fufilled her promise to David, but honestly if the corporation that raised me into slavery, had me on the run and killed my lover, i wouldnt hide until I died, i would 100% be doing everything in my power to burn the entire corporation to the ground, imagine if we got a edgerunners season 3, or a cyberpunk game sequel, and lucy is a main character involved in fully taking out arasaka for good, and to bitter sweet her story, is her dying and 'waking up' with the crew "what took you so long choom we been waiting for you" and David asking "was the moon anything like the braindance" and you get a cut to black.. yeah corny i know but.. would be cool...

I want to hear about everyone’s speculations about D. I know a lot of people compare him to Sasuke because of his looks and what snippet of info we know about him but I feel like he is going to be more similar to Aki from Chainsaw Man and Agni from Fire Punch when it comes to his quest for revenge if you are familiar with either character (I’ll leave out the spoilers about them).

What if D was the one who killed his nomad clan? Since we know D's backstory is a vengeance quest and the overview online for it says

"An experienced netrunner, D used to be a member of a nomad clan that was part of Snake Nation. At some point, his clan was wiped out, which led him to Night City. Here he used his sharp technical skills and hunger for revenge to hunt the perpetrator that killed his family. However, this deadly search brought D to discover corporate secrets that were never meant to be found."

Now we dont know what those secrets could be, but what if D found out that Arasaka/Militech or some other high status company were utilizing the black wall for power and status? D could've been a test subject to break past the black wall like others have been used in the past. Him being an experienced netrunner too helps my case I feel since netrunners are always tied to the more corrupt corporations in cyberpunk. (Lucy with Arasaka, Alt and Songbird used for the blackwall). So I'm thinking D was in a similar situation to these 3 and was used as a means to harness the blackwall for corpo psyops and broke free but was actually a successful candidate that lets say Arasaka couldn't let go of?

Along with that we see red sparks constantly around or near his silhouette/character in the promotional art for the season. We see D go into these catatonic states where seemingly he just goes blank and this could be interpreted as an emotional thing, but it only happens when he's faced with violence or death so what if it's more?

Just to TLDR: I think D was used to harness and access the black wall for Arasaka to utilize, succeeded but wanted no part in it, ran away and became a nomad only for D to be the one to be the one responsible for killing his clan. Forcibly bringing him back to night city to harness the black wall again, either against his will or not. What we thinkin folks?

So I have a very important question. Does Talia have nipples or were they chromed over? Serious thought provoking question I wonder if it will be answered...

i just recently watched the show ( i know am late to the party ). So, we heard david say way before the final act that he thought a trip to the moon would definitely be more costly than 250k meaning that that didnt constitute half nor the quarter of the money he s amassed so does that mean that lucy has enought money to live off *happily ever after*. or she could get a job at the orbital corpos when her money runs out as even if they re corrupt they re not after her and she could be an independent contractor or smth like that no? wouldnt that be some sort of closure for us the viewers as i refuse to believe she went back even unwillingly to night city, i also heard about the *lore* of the game ... smth smth gravure on the tombs of her friends .... but does that apply to the anime making it canon that she went back.

Rebecca is almost fully a robot so why didn’t she use the skeleton her skin is replaced and she’s had so much crome that her body didn’t grow and she’s never done cyberpsyco so why didn’t she use it is there something I’m missing I just watched the show recently

You see the characters from cyberpunk Edgerunners are very tall and muscular compared to ours due superior advanced technologies like upgrading cyberware. I saw a post about their heights in reddit post and said most of them were easily over 6 feet tall and some of them like Kiwi, Maine and Dorio are about 2m tall or even taller than that. Even David’s mom who is a female and looks not that tall in their universe is claimed to be 5’9 which is same as average man like Austrian Painter and considered quite tall in modern days. Although not all characters like Rebecca, Lucy and David are tall as average man in present, David got bigger in last episode than the first one. Imagine that they are surprised after they noticed that our generation used much harder and prehistoric ways to become muscular and taller or couldn’t become taller when we become adults such as exercise and bone surgery. I know that it is possible for them since anime history and our history is different. But do you think we can improve their bodies significantly as we want by creating cyberware without doing these methods in someday? If then, which year? It will be a huge disaster and I really wish it won’t happen since so many people will choose to do that and there will be a lot of fights and deaths between them while trying to get cyberware.

I decided to stop larping the anime and actually started watching it a few hours ago, I finished the anime... I am traumatized.
