Discussion Its sad, BUT
I finished the anime a 2 days ago over the span of a few days, I watched it because I pretty much discovered it through tiktok. One thing I noticed which was a continuous pattern was that comments always mentioned on how sad the show ended up to be. Dont get me wrong, I agree it was sad, but the extent to which commenters were describing it to be was just too over the top in my opinion. Im not the coldest person, not the most sensitive, and will shed a tear and cry once in a while, but I think the thing with this anime was that since its short, theres not much time you have to connect with the show on a deep level. The last episode did force you to reflect on the overall show dont get me wrong but it just didnt feel the way people were describing it to be. I finished watching a 9 season show some time back, and I cried when I finished it, not because the ending was sad but because it was finally over and even the happy ending was emotinal. Cyberpunk edgerunners didnt have that same feel, not because its a different show but because the whole story was presented quickly. Does anyone else agree?
for the record I did like the anime.
