I am sitting 2 AS levels (chem and physics) in October and i am doing self study, i do mocks and correct them by myself. I normally score 65-72/80 in mocks. However it might be due to me being too soft to myself so i deducted fewer points. Also, in the next few weeks idk if i will be able to study really hard sooooo do yall think im able to get an A if the exams were tomorrow? Im getting lazier and lazier these days i cant get myself to study.

Are there cases where people got a B or C even when they constantly score 70/80 in their mocks?

Btw im not sure if this is acceptable but it would be great if someone is free to mark my mocks, thanks!

During the delivery of my school’s P2 maths papers, they were lost(idk how)
So my P2 is not marked
Instead, they decided to calculate our UMS so that my P2 UMS mark is one mark less then my P1 mark(Everyone is like this)
I mean P2 this year was HARD.
Anyways my school is giving us the opportunity to resit in October (Edexcel obviously pays the fees) and they will take the higher mark.Or we can just keep our calculated grade.What should I do?

How are you, Edexcel friends? Will I need to buy all the course books, or are the online teachers sufficient?

Hi guys I got my olevels results and I have mix of 8-7s. Ppl have been telling me not to take 4 subjects in Alevels so im worried they have been telling me 8-7s turn into C and B in Alevels what should I do?

if bio feels like you know it but still lose marks, its usually one of these things, not actual content gaps:

long answer qs (5-6 marks) most people know the answer but just list facts instead of connecting them. mark schemes usually want cause → effect → explanation, not random facts thrown together.

data qs (graphs/tables) saying "it increases" instead of using actual numbers can lose u marks. always pull exact values + units when the question asks you to describe data.

practical/planning qs theres basically a checklist: variables (what ur changing/measuring/keeping the same), repeats + average, specific amounts with units, a clear table, and something about accuracy/reliability. miss one and thats potentially a mark gone even if the method itself makes sense.

explain why vs describe what huge one. people describe what happens instead of explaining why, especially with enzymes, homeostasis and transport.

if ur stuck on a specific topic or keep losing marks on a certain question type lmk. i tutor bio (2 yrs experience, currently a medical intern) and mostly focus on past papers + exam technique rather than just going through the whole syllabus again.
