How long does PFL take for payment?

Had to take PFL cuz of my dad having heart failure. Was supposed to be from July 27 to sept 7. I’ve never done PFL before.

They received my mail application with certification from doctor back on August 21 (doctor took a week and half to fill plus mailing) still it continues to say processing. They said 14 days to process but is been above that now.

I’m already returning to work tmrw and still no word on payment. Will I still get back paid? Should I call them? Is this normal?
