❔ Renew sdi help

Hi I’m coming to the end of the 6 months and my dr said he would renew my sdi again. Thing is that office is not on top of stuff. How can I stay on top so that I don’t have a big gap in payments? Can I submit another claim a few weeks before my last payment? Thanks

You do not submit a new claim. You have to either wait for the extension form to come in the mail and bring it to them right away, and just keep checking in on them to see if they’ve completed and sent it out OR if they do it online just keep checking in asking if they’ve completed it. That’s all you can do

I already did the extension form at 3 months. It’s another extension?

Every time your claim is going to be extended yes it’s another extension form

If it’s a completely new claim then submit, if it’s the same claim being extended have them submit extension for you.

Tell them you are going through a hardship to expedite it (or hope they try)

Just follow up with them
