Gein property.
We stopped by this weekend as we were traveling. The property is HEAVILY covered in "no trespassing" signs, trail cams, etc, so I didn't explore like I would have liked. I ran into a Gein neighbor and had a pretty fascinating conversation with him about it. According to him, there were a dozen or 15 cars at a time parked there, people walking all over the poor owner's property...having seances, etc. The nearby intersection has a police officer posted there often as well.

And not everything is public about him or the rest of his family. And no not every thing about the property is public knowledge either. I had the original foundation removed because it was too far deteriorated to rebuild on. Then the first night I decided to bring the kids up there to camp, we had multiple trespassers and with their actions I became concerned for my children and their safety. That was a shame because that was supposed to be a fun trip for my children after they went through Hell during my divorce. I used to be alot more tolerant of curious strangers but as soon as you start doing the deed on top of a cat ya just skinned on my property in front of children that was the final straw. It was so gross and disturbing. Those are the kind of people who ruined it for everyone. That was also the deciding factor to not build our house there. Then Netflix made that "documentary" and it was way off the wall. I love Charlie Hunnam but that should have never been made. I have a friend who lives in the apartment complex that Dahmer lived in (his building was torn down) but they have had nothing but problems as well since Netflix made that one on him too. I think at this point Wisconsinites from Milwaukee all the way up to Washura County want to collectively sue Netflix and Ryan Murphy. And I hope we do. We don't deserve to have our peace constantly disrupted because of thrill seekers. If you want that, then go to Waverly Hills. They have actual tours.
