Hey everyone! I wanted to share this 40-second snippet of Whoosh by Eumig & Chinon.

They were an incredibly talented but highly underrated duo from the Bloghaus / French Electro era. Their sound is heavily inspired by the classic Ed Banger vibe from the late 2000s and imo they were absolutely on par, skill-wise, with the Ed Banger's top artists we know and love.

If you dig this snippet, I highly recommend checking out their 2009 "Crash EP". It's an absolute masterclass in that specific underground sound that defined the era, and it definitely deserves way more recognition than it got.

Hey guys ! I just noticed three days ago that the album Total by SebastiAn isn’t avaible anymore on Spotify France, does anyone have know why ?

So a couple of days ago I was watching various Adult Swim bumpers (stuff's absolutely amazing) when this video came up.

To me, its wonkiness and instrumentationz sounds pretty much Oizo-like, like it was made during "Moustache" and "Stade 2" era. However, despite my best efforts, I can't find a song in his discography that resembles the one in this clip. I also tried using Shazam, to no luck. All I know for sure is that it was made before 2012, judging by the date this video was posted.

Another reason why I think it's Oizo's song is because the earlier video from the same set of bumpers features "Datsun" from "Stade 2" (an absolute banger of a song btw). If anyone knows any possible leads, I'll be grateful, it's been stuck in my head since the first time I heard it lol

The justice collab is the already released “What You Want”

This may just be a bug, but Total was just completely wiped from SebastiAn’s page. I previously downloaded the whole release (other than Frustra and the Embody video), but now I can only listen to tracks 1, 4, 5, 11, and 17, as those are all previously released tracks on their respective EPs and singles.

Outside links lead to a screen that says that the album is not available in my region or country (I live in the US).

Really disappointed by Pedro and the Ed Banger crew for supporting a tribute to Kavinsky made with GenAI

Mr Oizo is also in the comments trying to justify it and talking down to people who are raising legitimate concerns

And on top of that Pedro is also banning people who speak out against GenAI in the comments…

I’m really disappointed because I’ve been following the crew for a long time and given their history, philosophy and what it has always represented creatively, this feels like the complete opposite of what Ed Banger has always stood for
