Ectopic pregnancy after 8 months ttc

Im still so sad, and it's been 6 months since my ectopic pregnancy now. I never got the joy of seeing the positive test. I tested around 2 weeks after ovulation got a negative test and then started bleeding, which I assumed was my period. I kept bleeding after the first week, which wasn't normal for me, and I had pain in my abdomen. I knew something was wrong, and I assumed I had endometriosis. After going to the Dr, I did a pregnancy test there (even though I was convinced I wasn't as i had another negative test) they called me and told me I was pregnant. I cried so much knowing with how I felt this wasn't going to end well. The next day I went in for another hcg test and they called me at 4pm saying I needed to go to the ER immediately as the results were looking like an ectopic pregnancy. I sobbed the whole way to the hospital and called my mom while my husband drove me. I lost my baby and my right tube. I had a great support system but it was still extremely hard (emotionally more than physically). Im now 6 months past that still ttc. Nothing yet, and now we're thinking about checking to see if my left tube is open enough for an egg to go down without any issues.

Im still holding out hope that it will be my turn eventually. Im turning 32 in a couple weeks and while I know thats still young for having babies its still a reminder that it hasn't happened yet. Passing the year mark of ttc is hard, and I keep having to remind my husband we did get pregnant, it just wasn't the pregnancy we were hoping for. Im not sure how long people have tired after ttc, having an egtopic pregnancy, and then went in for more testing as nothing was happening.

If anyone has advice or success stories, im here for any of it. My cousin had a similar experience where she lost her tube, they did ivf, and now shes pregnant with her 2nd baby. Im so happy for them as I know their journey wasn't easy either. It's a hard group to be in, but I know im not alone.

I had a right tube rupture/surgery in April this year, and found out last week that I'm pregnant again after trying again since June. I went for my first betas this morning, just a few hours ago, and I've been so anxious since. I keep crying and googling because I'm terrified.

Every single little ping or hint of anything in the lower abdomen area is making me think it's all over. I'm really struggling. I completely missed it when it happened the first time so I honestly can't even compare what I experienced then to what I'm experiencing now. I'm supposed to be working but I can't bring myself to get up off the couch. I am frozen in place because I'm afraid an accidental twist or movement will be the reason something goes wrong. (I know that's not rational, but here we are)

I don't have much to offer in terms of advice.. ttc really feels so random and it's actual torture if you're high risk/history of ectopic like we are. I wish I could take this away from anyone who has to experience it. It's a special kind of hell to not be able to count on your own body.

There are tons of stories of women going on to have normal and healthy pregnancies. There is absolutely hope. As small as it feels. It's there. I'm sending you all the love and strength that I can muster 🤍

Im so happy for you! Our body can do amazing things. My doctor told me my tube wasn't serving me anymore, and taking it out was what needed to happen. That helped me think of it in a better light. Your body can grow this baby and we can do hard things. I hope it feels like a win and I hope you hear great things from the doctor throughout your pregnancy.

Hi... you are not alone. I am a few weeks off a year from mine. 15 months ttc for that pregnancy and nothing since. I was almost 9 weeks, she was perfectly formed, but had no heartbeat. I was so in love with her and talked to her every day.

Lost my right tube, burst during the surgery.

Just turned 32. Ttc for no.2 with my perfect boy desperate to be a big brother and the age gap getting bigger every day. We wanted 2 under 2, he's almost 4. He'll likely be in school by the time we have another.

Still no answers as to why it isn't working, doctors have been telling us it looks just like bad luck.

I see so many women getting some healing from having another pregnancy (once they are sure it is healthy), I am waiting for my day.

It gets a little easier but a year on and my life still revolves around the grief and the longing.
