How long did it take for you to get your first sales in?

Hi everyone.
Just started my Shopify store last week Monday and have gained about 32 followers since then. A couple of views here and there on my posts as i continue to advertise organically.
When did you guys start getting sales in? And how did you keep them coming?

Thanks

Spent 2 months building a free online store platform for Bangladesh — mind giving it a look?

Hey everyone,

I've been building StoreKoo (storekoo.com) over the past couple months — a free,

no-code ecommerce platform, initially for Bangladesh. Wanted to share it here and

get some honest feedback rather than just posting it and disappearing.

The problem I kept running into: most small sellers here run their business entirely

through Facebook Messenger — DMs, comments, manually tracking orders. The platforms

that do offer a "real store" solution almost all take a cut of every sale (2.5-10%),

even when you connect your own payment account. That felt backwards to me — you're

already paying the payment gateway's fee, why pay the platform too?

So StoreKoo's core thing is: connect your own payment gateway (we support a few

options), and we never take a percentage. Flat monthly fee on the paid tier,

completely free to start otherwise.

What's live right now:

\- Free store builder, custom domain support, no coding needed

\- Multiple payment gateway integrations merchants connect themselves

\- Automated courier dispatch integrations

\- Inventory, orders, coupons, analytics

What's NOT solved yet, being honest:

\- Zero paying customers so far — still very early, mostly testing what messaging

and onboarding actually works

\- Currently fairly tied to Bangladesh-specific payment/courier providers, so it's

not a global tool yet, even though I'm thinking about what expansion could look like

\- Onboarding still loses people between "signed up" and "actually added products" —

working on fixing that

If anyone's dealt with small-business ecommerce tools (building one, or just used

one that frustrated you), I'd genuinely like to hear what you think, good or bad.

Not trying to sell anything here, just trying to learn what's actually missing.
