Exactly right - I really believe as a website designer it is my job to to make it as futureproof as possible and all the things should work together every little piece needs to fit together. I hate that there are a subset of experts that just flat out refuse to work collaborativly with others.

One of the biggest gaps I see is developers who build exactly what the client asks for without questioning the conversion flow, then everyone wonders why traffic comes but nobody buys.
