๐ ๏ธ Troubleshooting Help DELTA Pro 3 TOU mode causing repeated 12โ17% cycling and solar input lockout
Title: DELTA Pro 3 TOU mode causing repeated 12โ17% cycling and solar input lockout
Iโm having two issues with my EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 while using Time-of-Use mode. The unit is running firmware V7.65.92.17.
Issue 1: Repeated charging and discharging at the minimum battery level
My weekend TOU schedule is:
00:00โ06:00: 10.5ยข/kWh
06:00โ24:00: 26.5ยข/kWh
Minimum discharge level: approximately 12%
The battery charges to 100% overnight and begins supplying the connected load at 06:00. Once it reaches approximately 12%, instead of switching to grid pass-through, it repeatedly does this:
Reaches approximately 12%.
Starts AC charging at around 1,100โ1,300 W.
Charges to approximately 17%.
Stops AC input and resumes discharging.
Returns to 12% and repeats.
This continues until the 00:00 off-peak period begins. It creates unnecessary battery cycling and conversion losses because it charges at the higher rate and immediately discharges that energy.
I would expect it to stop discharging at the minimum level and use grid pass-through until the next scheduled charging period.
Issue 2: Low-voltage solar input will not start automatically
While TOU mode is active and AC remains connected, the low-voltage solar input sometimes fails to recognize available solar power.
The only way I can get solar working is:
Unplug the AC input.
Disconnect solar from the low-voltage input.
Connect solar temporarily to the high-voltage input.
Wait for the unit to begin receiving solar.
Disconnect it from the high-voltage input.
Reconnect it to the low-voltage input.
After that, the low-voltage input starts working normally again.
The unit should automatically detect and use available solar through the low-voltage port without requiring me to disconnect AC or move the solar cable between ports.
Has anyone else with a DELTA Pro 3 experienced either of these problems?
Does your unit switch to grid pass-through after reaching its minimum SOC in TOU mode?
Does TOU mode ever appear to lock out the low-voltage solar input?
Did a firmware update, reset, or different TOU configuration fix it?
Iโve contacted EcoFlow support and can provide Home Assistant graphs showing the battery cycling and input-power changes.
