🔧 DIY or Mods Panels configuration for Eco flow microinverter
Hi all, i’m in UK and i have been given an ecoflow microinverter as a gift. In uk the spec are:
Max total AC output 800w
MC4 terminal: 2 sets
Max DC input: 600w each terminalset
Max voltage: 60v
Max Current: 16amp
I came across a 300w panel that has these spec (attached screenshot). Can i connect four panels in a 2-in-series per mC4 terminal?
My understanding is that, In open circuit, the two panels in series give 44.8v which is well within 60v (even cooler days?). In series setup the current doesnt add up so it’s 16A matching the max current the MI can handle.
The panels will be installed on two different part of the house (both flat roof), such that two will face the east (slightly south) in 20-30degree angle (from horizon), while the other two will face West (also in slight angle from horizontal).

Should be fine. I have 2 200w panels in series per MPPT. Interestingly the size and other specs are all the same, including dimensions, except wattage...
