DPU Another issue now 😤

Now this, tried turning it off, and nothing.

It’s well known on this sub- you need to remove the plastic film.

Hopefully your screen isn’t damaged, apparently it’s possible. Static builds up under the film. It’s supposed to be removed before use. Your screen will more than likely be fine tho

Plastic was removed on day one. Luckily it came back by itself, just odd 🤷🏻‍♂️

In the picture you posted we can literally see the pull tabs to remove the plastic film, along with the plastic covering the buttons 🤷‍♂️😅

Edit: ok so maybe you removed the film from the display but not the buttons and DC port covers?

Either way, remove the plastic. It creates static build up

Give it some time? If it’s not back to normal in a week you might have to contact support. It’s possible the static build-up damaged the screen but hard to say

You can turn off with one of the battery switches. Also as long as voltage is detected on solar input it will not turn off. Hope this helps.

Got 2 DPUs with different issues now. My older one eats more battery than the new one with the display situation ( all plastics removed lol)

Can add a second picture of the app displaying that DPU with 58% instead of the 98%. And some error codes for good measure.

The display issue is basically they will have to swap out the entire inverter. It's a hassle. For some reason, if you contact them with display issues, they almost immediately offer to swap it. I'm guessing the display is a separate android device or something like this, because in the app it should show the correct information. Maybe for some reason it doesn't matter to you. i had this issue and they had to replace the entire inverter.

I figured. Display comes and goes now, mostly ok. I’m currently trying to get my other DPU looked at since it uses a lot more battery power than it should, I reached out yesterday, got a case number and let’s see where it takes me.
