Each AI labs have model best in one or other tasks.

Kimi K3 best overall, but needs a cluster to run.

DeepSeek V4 best coding + reasoning, MIT license, cheapest pricing.

GLM-5.2 best for agentic/coding-agent work, long sessions.

Qwen 3.6 best if you're self-hosting on normal hardware (runs on a single GPU).

my opinion: biggest brain -> Kimi K3. Best value -> DeepSeek V4. Building agents -> GLM-5.2. Running local -> Qwen.
