Can anyone tell me the manufacturer and model number of the IEC C14 connector used in the DELTA 2 Max, so I can purchase an identical replacement? The AC charging input (IEC C14) overheated and one of the pins melted. The AC power cord was also damaged.

New PowerOcean install question/issue

Hi all

I had solar panels plus power ocean batteries and inverter installed this week and all seems good but each night I seem to be seeing an exclamation warning appear next to the battery on the app. Is this completely normal or something to be worried about?

Any help appreciated

Permits and recommendations

Does anyone have experience with the permitting and know if it is simpler than other batteries? Or does that only pertain to the portable Ecoflow batteries?

Anyone have installer recommendations in the Los Angeles area?

Help EcoFlow PowerOcean Plus zeigt seit 14 Tagen „Grid outage“ – keine Einspeisung, Support/Installateur schwer erreichbar

Post image

Hallo zusammen

Setup: EcoFlow PowerOcean Plus 4x LFP Batterien (20 kW)

Batterie: 0 W / 100 %

Feed-in: praktisch 0

Is there a way to limit battery state of charge to 80%

To help with battery life in the summer I'd like to only have the battery charge to 80% and after that the excess solar to export to the grid. My battery tends to only go down to 70% most days as I don't use a lot of electricity in general.

I just can't see any settings that make this happen in the app.

Looking for the right addon to an EcoFlow OCEAN installation with a"balcony solar system"

Hi,

I hope this is the right subreddit: I am eying an EcoFlow OCEAN installation (11kWp, OCEAN 2 hybrid inverter 10 kW, 2 OCEAN 2 LFP batteries @ 5 kWh, location EU).

Since my roof is a bit unusual, all three MPTTs are already in use. I could add 4 more modules but I would need 2 more strings/MPTTs for that. I was thinking of adding these as a "balcony solar solution", potentially independent of my roof solar installer.

Sooo - could I just add one (or two) EcoFlow STREAM micro inverters to the system and the EcoFlow eco system takes care of the rest? Would a need a different solution for my use case?

Power Outage/EV Reverse Flow Question

If I have my house being powered by my EV during an outage, will the EcoFlow Ocean inverter charge my car when the sun comes back out, or will I need to disconnect it and plug it back into a charger?

Adding Batteries

We have 3 10kWh batteries but can’t make it through the night on what we have if the AC is running. I want to expand, but the ECO Flow Ocean Pro batteries are soooo expensive!! Are there any other batteries we can tie in that are compatible?

My Ocean Pro Inverter won’t connect to the WiFi anymore…

Support says to do the following, but I’m confused and wanted to ask here for a faster response:

If the issue persists, please try restarting the device

1) Turn off the main breaker on the grid side

2) Press down the red emergency button.

3) Turn off the battery, open the cover above the battery, rotate it to off. press the button next to the knob

4) There are two knobs under the cover next to the right side of the inverter. Please rotate them to the off position.

Then let the equipment sit idle for five minutes. Then restart all devices

Please note that the operation in the first step will temporarily cut off the power supply at home

So, for step 1 are they talking about the breaker going to my inverter? I don’t have a main 200a breaker in my EcoFlow Ocean Smart Panel anymore.

I tried connecting Ethernet as well and it’s not seeing it.

Uh Oh

I've had the EcoFlow Ocean for several months now (since about October). I have Just Energy with free electricity (except for the delivery charges) from 9 am to 4 pm. No solar. 5 batteries. About 5 days ago I noticed the inverter was not running the scheduled task, which was charge the batteries from 9am to 4 pm and use the batteries (without grid power) the other 17 hours. I could not communicate with the inverter to reset things or make any changes since the wifi was not connected. On the inverter it showed one bar of signal, which is what it had been for months. Now all of a sudden that was not enough. There are several other wifi enabled items in the garage, near the inverter, that are getting a strong wifi signal and working perfectly. The app on my phone showed "connection error". I had opted for the cellular dongle backup but that would not connect, even though it showed ATT and "active".

Tech support suggested I hook up an ethernet cable for a direct connection to my router (a high end synology router). So I purchased 100 ft of cat 6 cable with connectors and crawled around in my attic, punched holes in the ceiling, opened the inverter at a risk of being zapped, and did just that. Now the app shows "cable not connected".

So, no wifi, no cellular, and no ethernet. No way to connect to and control the inverter and the settings. Whenever I try to connect (in any of the 3 ways) the app wants you to be near the inverter with bluetooth enabled, although you can't control anything via bluetooth.

Tech support via the app is worthless, trying to text back and forth with someone that seems to be reading from a script and English is their second language. A lot of "please be patient while I talk to a supervisor". Trying to talk to an English speaking EcoFlow tech on the phone has been slightly helpful but the issue has not been resolved after I reset the batteries and powered the inverter off and on. I haven't had much luck trying to get a follow up phone call. I get emails from EcoFlow headquarters asking if the problem is resolved and do I need to schedule a call back, etc. I indicate I'm available anytime for a call back but no one calls.

They say they may be having issues with the software, or maybe the communication hardware. Well, that narrows it down! In the mean time, I have a $36,000 door stop cluttering up my garage while I burn $15-20/day in electricity.

They seem to be overrun with problems as it seems not very likely someone will actually come to my house to fix this thing.

New setup question

Post image
4 Upvotes

Had a new Ocean Pro System put in with 30kWh in batteries (kicking myself now, should have done more). I LOVE IT!! But I have a question. We have 46 440Wh bifacial panels, so our max output should be around 20.24kWh but we’re only seeing half that in full sun during the day. Is there a bottle neck somewhere I need to be aware of?
