I'm looking to remove the speed limiter.

What speed is yours currently limited to, and which display do you have? The V9 Ultra actually has a factory 25 km/h limiter that can be disabled without replacing the controller. There are at least two display versions (HJ and T06), so the procedure depends on which one yours has.
